I have been running the aluminum +10 Tresrey chassis since its release. Its a bit pricey, but....my car has been never better. I run alot of indoor clay tracks, & it gets better and better the more I drive it. I havent been running buggies for a few weeks, due to prep time for the Short Course Showdown@ RC Ecitement this weekend. I am currently sitting 7 in the A for 2wd 17.5, & somewhere in the B for 4wd short course. We have one more qualifier today. Chexk out liverc.com to see the action.

I make my own Battery Foam using this from Lowes. There is a sheet you can get for $8 bucks and its enough to last you a very long time.

I have 5 different ones made for my dex210 which move the battery about 5mm till centered. Works great. Just need an exacto blade to cut.

Guys seeing that the Tresrey chassis is so expensive would there be any interest in a +8 or +10 hardcoated CNC chassis? I would make them available either raw or hard coated Black with the included spacers for the gap. If I told you I can do it for under $95 shipped (coated) and $65-70 (uncoated)would you be interested? I know there are a few options out there but they are either raw or really expensive. Please LMK......Thanks

I would think all +8 bodies would work. You only talking 2mm (.078") or a little more than 1/16". Not much of a difference honestly.......

Yes, think it is Exotek or RDRP who makes them.

rccarshop.co.uk has them in stock

Has anyone been putting the ESC in the back of the battery tray with the battery a little forward? I was going to try this with a shorty pack. Just looking for any feedback. Electronics are ordered and I was trying to figure out which way for my initial set up.

not sure if the link will work ,, battery stop is 20mm more forward using center hole on screws from stock rear battery stop as reference,, the esc was as far back as it would go but i moved it forward about 7mm so i could and take a 10g weight off the front to lighten up now i only have the 4g heavier cf front tower and the 21g front suspension block and the battery was 12mm from the rear block on high bite clay and i had plenty of steering on and off power ,, my front camber gain is 4 degrees for better tire traction when the body rolls ride height my camber is at .5 degrees and it stays their when the front lifts on power

the reason i havent bough an off brand one yet was the materials used to make them knowing that would help and $70 would probably sell quick as long as their light enough if not people would rather spend half on chassis and skids to get the weight and flex of plastic

They will be made from 7075-T6 aluminum. CNC and hard coated. Weight is 95 grams. What other info would you like? I know some other chassis are made from 6061 which has less tensile strength and is cheaper to buy. As for the flex that is purely preference. Thanks guys for inquiring!
