I am using a hitec 7940 super fast and more toque then the buggy could ever use, plus Hitec titanium gears trains are bullet proof.

Hitec 7940 in all my cars. I am changing one at a time to the hitec 8360 . Its the latest mega servo.

Can you guys recommend the dimec +8mm chassis or the dimec20? I run indoor clay track- more of an 1/8 scale with large jumps. Would the dimec have too much flex?
Thanks

depends on how high or low your grip level is. high grip level demands the dimec20

"Ideal for 20-120 class aircraft, all EP 600-700, and GP .30-.90

It sounds like a great servo but I'm going to have to call BS on the 1/4 scale steering application of it.

If you're having issues with servos breaking, this is a great solution. http://www3.omnimodels.com/cgi-bin/w...=WR&I=TDRC4912

I dont understand how peeps are breaking metal geared servo's

I never use servosavers, not in my scaler, 4x4 SC, 2wd SC, 2wd Buggy,

never stripped a servo in the last 4 years.

I use savox and ace

....I've been racing for 25 years and have NEVER stripped a servo..had a few that quit working (solved that problem..don't use hitec anymore)....but just an FYI the Durango servo saver is junk..your steering will suffer for sure.

And back to ball cups. The only ball cups that seem to pop off with any frequency for me are one on the steering ackerman plate (320124-12) and one on the left camber link. The rear camber link is a new issue so this is just wear but the ackerman plate one has been popping off from the start.

What do I need or what is a good solution to deal with just the ackerman plate ball and the steering link cup that links to it? I don't think I need or want to change all the balls and ballcups.

Thanks!

Picked up a used dex210 today.. Can't wait till it gets here and I get it setup. Since running the DESC410v2 I am turning into a big Durango fan. I will be running on a loose outdoor 1/8th scale track. Any tips or must haves?

The stock ball cups sucks. It can not be, that i need 3 tools in the same time to adjust the turnbuckles like dirango shows on there site.

If i try to adjust the turnbuckle wirh one tool, the ball cup pop off. This sucks. I never had rc car, where the ball cups pop off by adjusting the turnbuckles.
I have brand new hd ball cups on my dex210.

This thinks let me thinking about to switching the brand.

I have heard the RPM or AE ball cups will work.. I bought the Lunsford kit for my DESC410.. Pricey but haven't had a single issue.
