As far as size goes they are the same, all 3 are 12mm. The new shuie shocks are 13mm so they will not fit, as you all know the Durango uses a screw to secure the piston to the shaft..both AE & Losi use a c clip, I have all 3 pistons and some spare shock shafts..I'll see if they fit..I don't think they will but you never know..
Why are you guys even interested in trying different manufactors pistons anyways. What's wrong with the TD ones?

I've played with other companies pistons in my shocks while testing different setups at the track. The TD pistons are fine but I prefer the "taper" style pistons for their different compression and rebound characteristics. My friends at the track race Kyosho and TA cars and we swap pistons back and forth all day long looking for the right "feel".
I doubt I'd buy all the different pistons I've tested. Swaping back and forth with my friends on practice days just gives you more options.

Gears
Have the stock 87 spur with a 25 poinon real tight no room for adjusting. Should I be using different gears indoor clay track med size 18 sec laps?? Thanks

Bman's SS Skid/Chassis plates
Just received the front and rear SS Skid/Chassis plates from BMan's 3XNT.
Thanks
Fit and Finish are perfect. Very thin and strong.
The Rear plate has more material and more mounting holes compared to his original version.
Weight - Front/10.6g and Rear/13.7g
Thickness - less than 1mm (0.88mm)
Will test in a few days.
I have no doubt that it will be way better than the stock alu plates that I used before. The Stock alu plates were 2.5mm and really picked up a lot of clay and debris.
Still using the dimec chassis with the broken rear end
Will report back in a few days.
