discountrcstore is run by tony newland, he started it up to provide schumacher kits and parts and has expanded it as he adds products. He's totally legit and can be found in the schumacher threads

What did you pay for the chassis? I see their new and improved website raised the price to $120.00 at checkout.

It says $75 for natural and $85 for red, but when you click on the order online button, the price jumps to $120.00. Check those credit card bills.

I had a little back and forth PM with Prograde. I gave them the benefit of the doubt until someone receives or does not receive their order. I asked him about his bogus website registration address in San Berdo, but he has not responded. He instead offered me the names of local AZ drivers who he sponsors or runs his stuff.

A tracking number can be generated by printing a shipping label, but it does not mean the item was shipped. Keep checking the tracking number to see if it actually gets registered in the system and gives you status.

Please let us all know if you receive it.

I wouldn't make such a big deal about this but I have read about several people getting taken on RCtech by scammers. One was even an Admin.

I dont see the spacers needed to make the +8 chassis fill the gap on Progrades website. And still have not seen any picks of the chassis in hand. Mike Beaver has not responded to me but I messaged him on facebook.

Mike Beaver was one of the names he threw out to me during our conversations. Id like to get his take on this.

punchit website is same ownership as prograde. when prograde ran credit card, it came thru as punchit. personally, i think the tracking # was a ploy to do exactly what was done. Have majors post he got a tracking # to boost consumer moral of his legitimacy, conveniently as site store is launched with chassis going for $120. None of the hard questions ever get answered. no pics are ever posted. original poster claimed he ordered on a thursday and got on a saturday. at that speed people should have received chassis already. and we know who that member has got to be because he can't even post a pic either while it is certainly reminiscent of how mr. prograde got himself busted on the short course forum a couple years back in the link i posted yesterday (creating multiple forum members so he can bolster his claims). In my eyes, we are looking at one of 2 things: 1) Scam artist who just won't quit and continues to do anything to get a return on his time already invested on scam or 2) dumbest business man alive.

While we all hope it could be an honest business, now that the site is back up and I can look at the pictures, they look photoshopped to me. The text on the chassis do not line up with the holes. Also the label on their batteries says ROAR approved, but I do not see them anywhere on the list.

It says it comes with them. If it comes at all... waiting to see the verdict on that myself.

Default front axle screws

Whats the size of the front axle screws? Picked up the lunsford titanium wheel screws which are M3x7 and they dont thread into the stock aluminum axles.

I am always cautious when ordering on the internet as well. If it is a site I have not heard of I usually search and try to find a good review. However,

Tony Newland owns that store. He is an honest guy and local racer here in UT. You can look around in the Schumacher threads and see a lot of people will vouch for his store as well. He just setup the store not long ago maybe why he doesn't have contact information listed.

I strongly feel the Punch it, HiRev Hobbies, Prograde issue needs to be looked at! however this isn't the place to do it. I'll ask that someone involved with this issue create a thread in the chat lounge. Zipperfoot, I've read your original post and to be honest that information is public record and easily found. I don't have an issue with it being posted in the chat lounge. If in fact Prograde is NOT affiliated with Punch It in anyway they sadly need to prove such.

Punch it/HiRev Hobbies have had so many issues on this site it's not even funny.

Again further discussion should be done but not here.
