the LW weights 20g less then the regular one, so 20% less. The LW with the spacers weighs in at 83g, anyone know how much the stocker weighs? A second pair will also get sent out soon to be run the the Cactus Classis, alone with an alloy ST and SC chassis.
Who will be running them at the Cactus? I plan on racing this year and would like to see it up close, and watch it run.

cool.

Right now I'm only getting a few made for a couple people. Its all now done in my machinists spare time, I got lucky to have these 2 made in time to go to the Reedy race this weekend. I can get a batch on them done (50+ chassis) and get the chassis hard coated, the spacers regular anodzed black for a full factory look, but I don't have the cash to front the run. It seems like with these pics theres more interest, but if I can get 25 pre paid for I'll front the rest to do a big run. If they're prepaid I can give a slight price break, as well as volume discounts. I simply don't have the cash saved up do pay for the full run. If you want one send me a pm, also note if your factory sponsered and if theres a big race you want them by. If I get 10 people interested in the next day or 2, I'll keep everyone posted about the possibility of a run. I can also get alloy DEST and DESC chassis done to use the buggy side pods, let me know if your interested in those as well.

trying to get my new used dex210 set up. The set up sheet I am using says 1.5 camber front and rear. That seems like a lot. the tops of my tires are flapping in the wing. Is this right?

What do you mean by flapping? Do you have a picture? 1.5 camber is right in he ballpark of where you want to be.... What are you using to gauge it? Does your wing sit lower than around the wheels than the stock one?

I run -1 camber all around. My rear tires wear exactly in the middle.

The stock chassis weighs in at 108g. What quality of material are you using?

its 2.5mm (well, technically 0.090") 6061. 7075 T6 cost a lot more, harder to machine, and there's a risk of them cracking when they get bent as I don't have the resources to use regular 7075 then heat treat it afterwards. The stock material is 6061 so that shouldn't affect anything.

Do you see a lot more flex in the chassis with the LW version, or is it pretty much the same once the sidepods, battery brace etc. is mounted on?

On the bench with just the chassis, the LW does have more flex, once the side pods are on I'd suspect the same, but front to back it feels equally stiff so I don't think durability will be an issue, but I should know by the end of the weekend.

Once I get 25 pre paid orders, It should be less then a month by the time I have them ready to ship. That being said I won't be sending out paypal info until I feel theres enough people saying they'll send money so no one is waiting forever for the run to start.

I am interested, but if you can't answer how much, I won't commit.

about $75 for the buggy, $80 for the ST, and $85 for the SC is how its looking now. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to collect money and get the run done it a timely manner. I'll be talking with the machinist tomorrow so I'll keep everyone posted. Selling them bare aluminum may be a better solution to get them made in a timely manner without a giant investment on my part. I'll keep everyone posted.
