Really dont understand why they didn't make the DIMEC chassis fit the old body, saves making moulds for a new body!

I have a shorty servo in mine, but i dont think its absolutely necessary..I haven't run MM though, so I cant comment if its needed for that config..Take your time on the build, and use the online manual from Team Durango website, there were a few errors in the included manual. Also view the diff build page while you are there, it helped quite a bit if you have never built a 210 diff before..

i had the 1258 it worked great super fast , i now have the 1251 low profile its .1 sec slower 19oz-in less so i dont notice it but the size is noticable and 7g lighter than the 1258 add 7g under it you got lower cog and same weight , i actually drilled holes and can now move the battery stop up 10mm more . i have everything centerd in this order front to rear _servo shorty reciever esc rm3 motor , i have 15g under the servo 7g tightly fit in the front hinge pin holder and 15g more under the steering crank , the front feels planted and if i want the 7g reciever can move and ill have 140mm of battery space

Appreciate your advice as always, and thanks again for the awesome support on the chassis.
THats not a bad idea if it works, then you might be able to tighten those housing screws a little more. Or replace the shims with 1/8 flywheel shims maybe?

I did once put those small black washers you get in the kit in between the two halves, not great as it leaves a gap but I could tighten it pretty good.

Got to try the RTR 210 yesterday. Put some 4 hole pistons, fluid in the diff and race tires. Most of the setup was spot on. Put my radio in but everything else was rtr. It was very good. Im impressed. Drove like a proper race car!

How are you liking the DEX210? I enjoy mine in Hutch. I have not tried the MM setup yet. You like it over the Rear Motor?
