Its a good car, and very capable of responding to input. Its fun when you get a response from small changes made to the chassis, especially when they go the positive way..

This was my last setup. Track was really bumpy but fast, only one big jump but wasn't a jump that needed pack.

I'm actually going to try running the same shock setup I have on my big bore B4.1 on this car. Really want to see what 2 hole pistons will do.

As far as springs go though, I don't feel you can have enough springs. The more options you have the better setup the car can be. I have AE, Avid, TD, and Losi springs. None of them are the same for the given rates.
Haven't put the 2 holes in the buggy yet, but they have been really good in our sc and st trucks. Very smooth in bumpy conditions, but enough high speed pack to allow soft landings on large jumps. Definitely worth a try. FWIW, his trucks both have 2x1.5 front and 2x1.6 rear, losi 30 and 27.5 respectively. I have 2x1.6 front and 2x1.7 rear, 35 and 32.5 losi in my truck.

I'm going to seal my 4 hole pistons and drill out to 1.6 for the buggy. Getting some bigger drill bits tomorrow.

You still running tapered pistons as well?

Finnisher is JConcepts. Proline is Bulldog. Neither have the lines, but they both can be used with MM.

87 is to big you will have to go 81 or smaller to get a fdr that u can gear up and down a little ive poted this a few times novak recomends a fdr of around 8.00 for a 10.5t factory they come with 30* timing so plenty of room for speed if you take away timing ,,, my fdr is 7.80 (81/27) 30* timing top speed around 40 so plenty speed and still under 135* im actually gonna gear down to 8.10 (81/26) and turn the timing down to 15* since it has plenty of power

this shows gearing and fdr for this buggy
