Don't shim out all the slop, you will start to break things.

I also got some 3 Racing 1mm and 2mm shims, less than $3 a packet of 10 (and different colours available) which I also just put on mine.
Looks much better and got rid of the slop/bind in the suspension.
Only downside is they are smaller outside diameter compared to the stock ones.

The only slop I have now is the rear inner pivot, about .5mm+ back and forth play on the arms.
Don't think im gonna bother improving it though.

The slop now is just right, before it was a bit all over the place, front right hub was sloppy as all hell, yet front left hub was had a bit of a bind.
Now its all just right (no excess slop and no binding).

The only slop (aside from the steering) is the front hubs vertically (seems this cant be removed) and the rear inner arms.

Either way, a lot better than the stock plastic spacers/washers, far too soft a plastic and wore out quickly.

You cant say I have been keeping her on the shelf.
One year battle scars with still the original chassis and arms
And its not from bashing. just clean racing and testing on hardpacked dirt

If I do put the Tresrey optional slipper unit and use the jconcepts spur gears, what gyro disks do I have to use? Stock or b4.1?

So this is the list I have as far as things that are a must buy, anything else I should get? (running MM on carpet full mod shorty lipos)

- Tresrey Aluminum Rear CF Camber Link
- Tresrey Aluminum 14mm Hex Wheel Hub Clamp
- Tresrey Rear High Traction Weight MM DEX210
- Associated ball studs and better ball cups (ex - RPM, etc)

Thanks before hand for any help. I am assuming that since I am running full mod, I probably can be find with the available durango spurs.

The tresrey CF steering rack too. An 81 spur would be ideal for mod though since stock is a bit too tall.

What issue is the CF Steering rack fixing over say the stock one?

Will keep in mind the spur as well, track though is a 50 x 50 setup, using an 8.5 turn mod motor. (this is actually less powerful than what others are running).

Alright, here is my new list:

(running MM on carpet full mod shorty lipos)

- Tresrey Aluminum Rear CF Camber Link
- Tresrey Aluminum 14mm Hex Wheel Hub Clamp
- Tresrey Rear High Traction Weight MM DEX210
- Tresrey CF Steering Rack
- Associated ball studs and better ball cups (ex - RPM, etc)

Does any other company make some of these items that people feel are worth buying?

Are the CF Towers needed front and rear? I got some spare stock tower sets was thinking of going stock for now, but is it a concensus that the CFs are better for durability?

Tresrey rear inner toe block seems a little bit off on the measurements for the mounting screws. And also the top holes for the plastic spacers. But I'd rather have those spacers in very snug so that's cool. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the info.

Looking at the exotek site they have a 6.25mm thick rear hex, but it looks like none of the hexes are clamping?

Am I correct in assuming that the 6.25mm rear hex gets the rear end up to legal width I am thinking or is there more to it?

Are there any parts not covered by the tresrey stuff that exotek or someone else makes that people recommend?

Right now, looking at this for my setup:

MM Running Carpet, 8.5T motor and shorty lipo

- Tresrey Aluminum Rear CF Camber Link
- Tresrey Aluminum 14mm Hex Wheel Hub Clamp
- Tresrey Rear High Traction Weight MM DEX210
- Associated ball studs and better ball cups (ex - RPM, etc)

Debating here, any opinions?

- Tresrey CF Steering Rack versus Exotek Steering Rack vs Diggity Designs Steering Rack
- Exotek Steering Crank
- Exotek Brass front weight
- Exotek Carbon Rear Shock Tower Versus TresRey CREAM Rear Shock Tower vs Diggity Designs Tower
- Diggity Designs Carbon Front Tower

+1 on the Exotek stuff..
Rack is cheaper and looks to match the Durango gold accents
Rear tower has 4 holes for additional tuning vs. Tresrey's 3
Brass front weight is cheaper...

Rear anit-squat blocks comig soon!

I use the AE slipper pads with the AE spur and find the slipper to be a little more precise.
