Don't shim out all the slop, you will start to break things.
I use an AE spur aswell, just made the hole bigger, it's not perfect but it works, I am ordering a proper one in my next order though.
I also got some 3 Racing 1mm and 2mm shims, less than $3 a packet of 10 (and different colours available) which I also just put on mine.
Looks much better and got rid of the slop/bind in the suspension.
Only downside is they are smaller outside diameter compared to the stock ones.
The only slop I have now is the rear inner pivot, about .5mm+ back and forth play on the arms.
Don't think im gonna bother improving it though.

The slop now is just right, before it was a bit all over the place, front right hub was sloppy as all hell, yet front left hub was had a bit of a bind.
Now its all just right (no excess slop and no binding).
The only slop (aside from the steering) is the front hubs vertically (seems this cant be removed) and the rear inner arms.

If I do put the Tresrey optional slipper unit and use the jconcepts spur gears, what gyro disks do I have to use? Stock or b4.1?

Will keep in mind the spur as well, track though is a 50 x 50 setup, using an 8.5 turn mod motor. (this is actually less powerful than what others are running).

Are the CF Towers needed front and rear? I got some spare stock tower sets was thinking of going stock for now, but is it a concensus that the CFs are better for durability?

Exotek.. Tresrey is a little over priced imo compared to others.

Am I correct in assuming that the 6.25mm rear hex gets the rear end up to legal width I am thinking or is there more to it?
Are there any parts not covered by the tresrey stuff that exotek or someone else makes that people recommend?
