I know what you are talking about. I have the same thing happen to the inside plate on my 210. I have not replaced my plate and it does seem to impact performance. I looked over the pad for something that could have caused it but found nothing. Unless you are seeing a performance issue with it I would not replace it.

I ran the car for the very first time this past weekend...I must say, this was a pretty awesome driving car... After all my building issues (issues in my opinion), I was pretty happy with the car. The driveshafts did not pop out at all. I also had no issues (so far) with the ball ends.

The ball diff was not tightened enough even though I tightened them by hand "just when it's hard to spin the gear" method. Well, I must have been pretty weak since I kept spinning the gear on carpet. I think I did 2 full turns until the diff stopped spinning. Regardless, I made the gear diff purchase for $28 and will never have to worry about it again.

Lastly, I didn't break any parts either even though I hit the boards a few times and landed a bazillion different ways. However, it does seem like the arms got a bit loose and I had to add 0.3 mm shims to the front. I will probably need 0.5 mm shims in the rears. The wing got scratched up a bit, but surprisingly did not fall off or crack. For a whole day's worth of bashing around on the track, no breakage, but most of all, SERIOUS FUN, I am super happy with the purchase.

I have been looking to get the JConcepts silent spur for my DEX210 and wanted to know if they fit this buggy before going out to buy it. Anyone know?

Will work if you purchase this. RW spurs are just as good though in terms of being silent and precision machined.

I'm going to hold off on changing the top shaft in my buggy untill the Avid Triad slipper is released. I've ran it in my Associated cars and its the real deal.

At least after I changed to AE pads it did never happen again.

Im a little confused as to what springs are recommended. I did the four hole piston mod per instructions, used the stock springs, but now i read that the stock springs are designed for mid motor.

I am running rm3, using a 13.5, at SRS or glitch which are both medium grip outdoor tracks. I am getting ok traction but the rear seems a bit bouncy at times. I am using 35wt losi oil in the front and 30 in the rear with 1.3 pistons all around. I have not added any weight.

If other springs are being used, what brand and color?

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

TD Black springs for the rear and dk green springs front are a good baseline for medium/high grip tracks. If you already have them, Losi and Kyosho big bore springs are direct fit as well, but you would have to match up the rates. There is a handy spring chart on petitrc.com that has all manufacturers springs on one sheet.
