Default Bulletproof ballcup

I found a video somewhere that shows how to make the inner rear ballcup secure. After buying the Tresrey rear camber mount, I threaded some button head screws into the trans case. After checking several times for clearance, I locked everything down. Now, the inner-rear ballcup can't pop off. These inner cups were the ones that poped off every time out on the track during my first trip to the track with this car.

I also installed the Cream shock towers on the front and rear of my car.

Only trouble I had building the kit was the O-rings under the shock caps. They kept trying to fold and push out before getting the shock cap tight.

I put shock oil on the o-rings but they still wanted to fold and push out. I just kept tighten a little then push the o-ring in, tighten a little, push o-ring in, etc.

Hopefully these won't cause issue. Shocks feel ok right now but haven't been on track with it just yet.

If you bevel the inside of the cap a little with a hobby knife, the orings stay put..

Didn't see this mentioned either....

When using the clamping hexes are people cutting the Durango cross pin shorter

...or using a whole different size pin?

Thanx.

The Tresrey hexes come with a shorter pin and a few shims in the package.

I have read every post on here about which ball cups and ball studs to use...my question is, can I use the JConcepts ball cups with the stock turnbuckles? Don't want to phaeton buy different turnbuckles right now.

You can also use small bore o-rings. The stretch makes them thinner and they fit and seal perfectly without having to modify anything.

Interesting also. Being stretched that thin and they still seal well???

Good to hear that. I built mine according to the Tips and Tricks on Durango's sight. Used a drill to run the turnbuckles in and out the ball cups about ten times. They seem real easy to adjust, and hope to hit the track today if I get finished with my daughters agenda in time. I feel there will be no pop off problem.

Nice, yea I saw your post on that a few pages back. The B4.1 I used last year only had one pop off when I slammed into a SC who was jumping lanes. The 210 should be just the same.

Simple solution. Use the lunsford kit. This question is only asked every 14 seconds.

Same here, amazing how well they work when assembled properly and you stay off the pipes. Ream out the ends, thread them through a couple times and you won't have any problems.
