I run on low bite outdoor. and the dex is great with the aluminium chassis.
the +8mm plastic chassis is not here yet. but I will get one later.

buy a dex210 , get an carbon rear tower, aluminium FR suspention hanger and aluminium steering rack and you have your own "R" version.

hmm, interesting, thanks for the info. Got a part number?

Been looking at the RTR version out of curiosity mostly as to what is different exactly. Will have to check durangos site to see if they say other than the obvious chassis.

I use exotek aluminium on my rango's. great quality and good price. the have also carbon towers

oh and by the way, that "R" doesnt mean a thing anymore .
my desc210r has the "R" you talk about. but the truck is stock form is al plastic.

I find it very interesting that the ready to run has a longer wheelbase then the original buggy with aluminum chassis. It's almost like the RTR is the better choice of car. In my case if I were to get another Durango, I would go RTR. Gets parts for ball diff, keep speed control and motor, junk radio receiver and servo, and bang I would have the DEX210 I wish I had half a year ago.

what wheels would you run if you did the 12mm hex conversion front and rear

sweet i have a tone of rb5 wheels and if i convert it i can use them all and switch to proline

I am using the Avid hexes in the rear for the B4.1. I posted some pics a few pages back.
