It fits better than anything else as it's designed for it.
I can't comment about the losi diff but if you try an associated one it will eventually fail as the diameter of the durango diff is slightly bigger by about .95 of a mm.
This is not much but when you consider the teeth on the gear are less than 1mm tall you have mesh issues from the start - see pic - top gear is Team C ball diff gear but is the exact size of an associated.
We found this out the hard way, the sc10 diff lasted about 2 minutes (MM4 high grip carpet).
I believe the losi is the standard diameter too as per xxx, b4, sc10 etc.

Cheers Matt
When I ran the 22, I ran the AE gear diff far before the 22 one was available. It is 1 tooth bigger, so if the AE ne is slightly to small, the 22 one will be even worse. It would also be close on width, I had to use a bunch of shims with the AE one or none with the 22 one so it might be too wide.

hi there

sunday i had a race on dirt track. the bal diff was a disaster on saturday training, so i went sunday with the gear diff and 10 000 oil in it, because the track was very loose. next i will try 15 000 oil in the gear diff.

i have the 8 racing carbon chassis with the stock lengt and the rear 8 racing carbontower in my car. its durable

that sounds really thick in the diff, the locals all seem to be running 1000wt at most, some just put a bit of grease in to keep it lubed up, and we run on a med traction clay track.

I dont like thin oil in the gear diff.
The car rotates too fast, if the track is loose.
Thin oil for carpet and thicker on loose track.

I run a 7,5 x11 lrp motor with a hacker tensoric esc.

http://www.redrc.net/2012/09/rdrp-du...ts/#more-58433

These are the nicest towers I have yet to see on a dex210, do you guys feel it is necessary to replace the stock towers?

Cheers

Yes they look very sexy

I am curious on the weight though the 210 is a bit on the plump side.

Nope. I've broke one rear tower in the short year that I've raced my buggy. It was kind of a freak thing. Landed upside down on rear corner of tower. Don't think it's any weaker than any other buggies towers' out there. I've raced on huge 1/8 scale type tracks and have def. tested the durability since then. I'm talking tracks that you can park full size cars in between doubles...and yes we clear them. Lol.
