I don't remember the exact numbers, but it's a few grams more than half the weight of the stocker.

Jeremy do you recall what size bearing you used for the axial? The Kyosho uses a 5x10x4mm in the RB5. I am trying to make a parts list for the mod. Below is what i have so far, but I am guessing on bearing size.

Thanks

So with this mod you can use the hex front wheels for what buggy? Will the proline hex front wheels for the b4 fit? And while we're on the subject can I use the 12mm rear hex adapters (jconcepts, etc) for the b4 or 22 on this buggy?

The front hex mod would allow you to use the 12 mm hex wheels for the B4 or RB5.

You can also replace the rear hex with the 12mm adaptor for the B4 and run the rear wheels also.

I use a small amount of low friction grease from Lucas Oil, and really just for noise purposes. Runs a bit quieter that way.

I also just received the new Tresrey rear hubs in the mail today. I'll be fitting them this weekend and Cush and I are hoping to get out for some racing on Sunday. Our local track is hosting the onroad Nationals this weekend so we have to find a place to go play... The hubs look very nice though, red and CF always does.

Thanks Guys
I built it w/ a small amount of the black grease as the manual suggests; just seems a bit "sticky". I'm guessing it will thin up w/ some use. Really hate to tear back into it

Hey John, I used the front wheel bearings that come with the car. They fit into the knuckle and axle perfectly. B4, Kyosho, team C wheels will all work.

They r using both. Seems like it depends on the track as to which chassis is being used. From what I have heard, there isn't one chassis that everyone has landed on yet, they r still testing.

Hey I hav a question - not too sure if it's a stupid one but couldn't find anything in manual or searching this thread.. Where do you measure ride height from for the front? I can't get close to 24mm, more like 34mm unless I wind down the droop screws. Any help is appreciated.

Where are your spring collars at? No offense, but you are reading the gauge right? I know sometimes I have to look twice on my AE gauge.
Measure it right before the bend for the kick up. I actually got rid of the bumps stops on the plastic pivot. I use 2mm limiters in my front shocks. I had dirt stuck between the bump stop and droop screw so I said screw it.
Off to the races!
