The 210 in stock form is about equal length to the original (non +8) B4. Different tracks will dictate a car with different handling characteristics. We'll have a standard and a long chassis car ready to go. I expect the longer chassis to excel on larger or rougher tracks, while the shorter chassis already shines on a tight, technical track.

That is a great tip, never even looked at mine to see if it was wearing.

Any other tips anyone wants to share????

Also thought of another one that has been listed before, but for the purpose of sharing it with others that may not know about it.

Take an exacto knife and slightly bevel the inside edge of the shock cap so that the shock o-ring doesn't get smashed when the cap is tighened.

Hope others share their tips too!

TD stuff is available from Tower. The site you're looking at is international, and would be shipped overnight from Europe, hence the $50 shipping.

Team Durango parts can also be purchased from Stormer Hobbies, Losi Parts Warehouse, A Main Hobbies, SpeedtechRC and Tresrey USA. All are here in the USA.

Lets talk about tires please.

Now I know everyone has there favorite tire or brand, but I would like to here about tuning with tires. Compounds for different track conditions, dirt versus clay, open cell versus closed cell, increasing front/rear grip, the use of sauce.

There are so many to choose from, I would like to hear your thought process and reasoning behind the choice.

Default Jumped on the train...

Just picked up a dex210. Starting the build now. No electronics. I know about petite rc site for build help. I have been out of the game for a minute and need help with electronics selection. I go more towards the top end. Any suggestions for 17.5? I only run stock.

Welcome back, you made a great choice with the DEX210.

There is a Tip's and Tricks section of the TD website that you should reference while building your kit.

As far as electronics Tekin RS or RS-Pro is the higher end way to go (IMO).
Motors Tekin Redline 17.5 or the Trinity D3.5 17.5 is super fast.

Welcome to the club. The 210 is the most versitile car out there out of the box. And with our support, youll be winning in no time flat!. Electronics are a flavor of the minute type thing. If it wins on Sunday, it sells on Monday. With that being said, Speed Passion ESC, either the Tresrey SP 2.0 or the stnadard 2.0, difference is the color. For motor the SP V3.0 17.5 or SP MMM 17.5, and they just released new rotors, and sensor boards for power increase options. Sort of like Pac-Man's power pellets.
Your also going to want to have 69-75 spurs for gear tuning. The stock spur is way too big to get the RRRRRR's you want. Does your track run 17.5 blinky or 17.5 boosted? Speed Passion offers tunning and updates.
There are other speedo's out there too, such as:
Tekin RS- good for stock and mod you dont need the pro.
Lrp SXX Stock Spec also very good.
Viper VtxPro
Novak
But Im a little biased.

I like this

8-Racing DEX210 Carbon Fiber Chassis

Manufactured out of high quality carbon fiber. 8-Racing carbon fiber chassis provides a 55% decreased in overall weight of the DEX210. Chassis weight alone is 49% lighter than the standard DEX210 composite main chassis. Carbon fiber chassis also tends to offer a "softer" responsiveness which helps improves rear traction on low bite racing surfaces.

If the chassis is 49% lighter than stock, how does it make the car 55% lighter!!! That there is some magic carbon fiber!

Guys , I have a question

I run on lowgrip hardpacked dirt with 4 hole 1.3 pistons in tha back with Losi 22 BB yellow springs.and 30 wt oil

I find the rear shocks to slow, to much pack, to stiff.
I just doesnt feel right.

can you advise me what to do?

back to six hole?
thinner oil?
thicker oil?
less holes?
bigger holes?
