You can try my recent setup that I ran with 17.5 in blinky for outdoor low to med bite.
All 17.5 mfr's motors are a bit diff so go by temp.

Thanks. I confirmed that 25 is the smalles I could safely go, 24 would work but the mesh has a bit too loose for my likings, on low grip it probably would work. I'll be trying 25/75 and go from there, its geared a bit higher then my 22 but running rear motor will keep it cooler and I'll be running a big clay track instead of carpet, so I think it will be fine but will keep an eye on it for sure. if its too high I'll just go to 26/81 (a 27 would be the same ratio) I'm hopeing to give it its maiden run next Wednesday, too much school/summative work to make the first race tonight.

Missing kit parts
Well you can count me as another victim of missing kit parts. Finally got to work on building my shocks and noticed I was missing the shock rod end pivot balls for the front AND rear plus 8 low-pro locking nuts. Team Durango needs to fire whoever they got in the QC department in China because they are not getting it done right over there. Did they switch factories after the buyout or something? Because my first two pre-Hobbico kits were complete and i haven't heard of others missing anything either.
Oh well.....

I use the aluminum hubs, my current setup is middle location with 2 2mm Durango caster block spacers on both sides. For the ball stud I use second to the end starting from the left and using 4mm spacers underneath, (3mm and 1mm Durango caster block spacers) that's only because the Lunsford ball studs are 1mm longer and the hubs don't have enough thread in them to only use a 3mm spacer. It's slightly loose which in my opinion would put too much stress on the hub if a hard hit were to happen. But it has no problem clearing the rear rim and in fact is almost the exact angle of the turnbuckle from the stock hubs.
If anyone is interested the aluminium hubs happen to weigh 10g vs the stock plastic at 6g. A nice upgrade for bling and durability without adding weight overall there only con is the huge price tag.
