Mine still look brand new, and you know how much time I have put on mine so far (and motor). I wonder if it was a revised kit I got that nobody told anyone about. I had just come into Losi Parts House when I ordered it. It had not been sitting around.

I just finished my build a couple of nights ago (had to stay up till the sun was about to pop up to get it ready for racing the next day, which rained out ).

Anyways, just wondering if anyone else found an tolerance issues when building theirs?
I found the side bulk head bits that 'key' in next to the servo did not line up and were too big.
I had to take the side pods off, put them on which caused the side pods to not line up, I eventually got it on, the holes were out by about 1.5mm or so but was just able to get the screws in on an awkward angle, didn't like doing it but had no choice.

I also found the rear bulkhead that sits infront of the rear tower (in RM config) also did not fit properly.

With the rear shocks, is it normal for the shaft to be long enough that the piston can completely clear the body?
When fully built it comes nowhere near touching that rubber bump stop on compression.

I think there was another fault I found but cant remember what it was now.

Also, is there a quicker way to get the gearbox out when in rear motor config?
I had the circlip pop out of the diff (fixed out, I didnt double check to make sure it was in properly) when I was breaking it in and the only way I could get the gear box out was to undo pretty much the whole back end.

Other than that though, the buggy seems pretty good.

Good question on getting the diff out as I have the whole rear end apart as well

If there is a easy way the that would be a great help.

I know I removed shock tower and everything to get gear box out in RM configure

In saying that it did not take that long though

Boost is timing applied to the motor through the esc. Most esc's now have the capability to infinitely adjust how and when the timing is applied, but it can make stock motors feel like easier to control mod motors.

So in the programming section of my MMP you are talking about the timing? I think you are but just making sure. Will an MMP give me all the features a buggy would need as far as ESC's go?

nope.

because a 2wd buggy needs a speedo who can deliver a smooth powerband.
AN MMP cannot give a smooth powerband. It is like an on/off switch compared to speedpassion/LRP/Orion

How about a DE10? That might be in my budget (if I can sell some stuff).

Speed Passion has the gt2.0 pro on their website for $90. IMO it's the best value out there. I've never used a DE10.

Orion R10 Race. Can handle motors down to 5.5 turn. $159.00 at most shops. I use it in stock with my T4.1 and it's equally as good as the $200.00 R10Pro I have in the buggy. Cannot advance the timing in it, and has a lower amp rating, But for the price cant be beat. If ou run on Blinky only tracks it's the best speed control I have used for 17.5 non-timing class. LRP's tend to stop working for no reason (bad BEC's). Never used a Speed Passion, but $90.00 bucks is cheap if you can get it locally for that price.

I just checked it about 10min ago. Try here: http://www.speedpassion.net/us/produ...8802Prob&c=ESC. Only the blue one is in stock right now.

It makes great power, is easily adjustable, and will run a 4wd sc if you ever go that route. Silky smooth too. We run it or the Tresrey version in everything. You will need to get the pro lcd program card though, which is about $20.

Are you in the US? Their international warehouse is out of stock, but in stock in the US warehouse. I do have an account, but not logged in so it should show up the same for yoy. Not sure what's going on there...
