My nano-tech shorty packs arrived today, and I must say what an improvement they make on the car. I had some kyosho battery spacer foam in different sizes, removed the front battery stopper and placed a small piece to protect the servo while still being able to run the battery all the way to the very edge. If I didn't prefer the HV savox servos I would definitely consider that shorty one so I could place the battery even more forward.

I've always been a big fan of kyosho springs, thought I'd try and find a good spring combination and I settled on the buggy soft/white for front and rear. Have been very happy with them, with the shorty pack now though the front and rear have almost perfect balance spring wise.

All that with a tresrey steering plate, lunsford ballstuds, turnbuckles and cups, TD gear diff with kyosho 5k diff oil, absolutely loving this car couldn't be happier.

But most importantly, what oil you have in the gear diff.
I run on outdoor rough clay tracks. They vary from low/medium grip with dust to medium+ when it's had a good amount of rain.

I run the AE black grease and it feels great, I run a lot of motor and the 210 just eats it up. The gear diff allows me to run the slipper a bit tighter so it has awesome punch when needed. I run both MM4 and RM4, starting to lean back toward the RM4 tho...

My new Proline Bulldog body. I like the looks of this a little better than the Jconcepts Finnisher. Supposedly, the Bulldog is a little less aggressive than the Finnisher in regards to handling and steering. I will find out Friday night.

Hey guys...I bought these upper shock mounts http://www.team-durango.com/part-inf...artNo=TD330032 and the shock cap doesn't fit them very well. Is there another part I need to get to get these to work? The shock cap is very sloppy on the mount.

Thanks

Running gear diff indoor carpet med traction. AE black grease mm4 smooth as butter. Ball diff was a pain in the back side to git just right, and make it stay that way. Using red o-rings with green slime on the out drives. Also using the AE B4.1 slipper pads V2 the rango ones seamed to gloss over really fast. Thinking i have a bent lay shaft screw

Looks great, didnt like the bulldog when I first saw it, but your paint scheme makes that body look better than I thought it would-NICE

It is virtually maintenance free when comparing to the ball diff.

I run the Gear diff with just a dab of (real car engine assembly tacky oil) and it performs like a champ. I run on 2 different tracks. One HIGH traction indoor clay and the other outdoor track that is lumy. I have roughly 40 hours of run time on the diff and is still butter smooth vs. the ball I would had issues with grit getting into the thrust bearing and would adjust it during driving.

The biggest thing i see is the consistency with the diff.

use this guide to assemble the gear diff. has part numbers for the better o-rings to use in the diff then its stock rough edged rings that people say leak. I have been using the stock ones with out issue but use a tacky oil

the aerodynamic profile of the body is almost identical to the finnisher. Unless your running a tunnel with 200+ winds, you will not notice the difference between the two (besides it's original placebo effect)..
