I have a gear diff from the second batch. filled with durango 1000cst.
It does feel smooth but at the same time it feels a bit to tight/heavy.

Is it because I use the 2 copper shims from the ball diff on each side? or do I need lighter diff oil ?

I only ran 1 raceday ( 6 heats of 6 minutes ). Do I need to give it some time? maybe after a few packs ?

any thoughts ?

There will be some that disagree with this but after talking to a few 210 "fast" guys at the nats and my own experience just use AE black grease and only enough to lubricate. it will not "dif " out and responds much better than the thicker stuff. which to me made the car darty and it wanted to follow the track ie if the track was uneven the car would go with the track instead of straight. went to a light grease and it all went away. maybe on carpet or turf you could go up if you need to.

By the way I love that grease, use it for almost everything

oh and this is where I race. hardpacked dirt, mostly low/mid grip

Or is it maybe , that I used O-rings from Tresrey # TYS246 red o-rings

when installing those O-rings they were slightly to big, but I got them to fit and put the e-clip in the groove with a little force. Could they couse such a drag ?

The Tresrey P-5's are Black, but they will be a tight fit and loosen up after a couple of runs. ALWAYS use some AE green slime on them before installing them though.

Looked at an RB5 that was being rebuilt at the track, and it looked like the Kyosho bushings might be a tad bit too big. The Tamiya ones look very nice indeed though.

I like them, they seem to take the slop out. There is a US dealer for Ghea but they only seem to carry the AE Ghea parts so I ordered directly from Ghea in Sweden. Took only 4-5 days to get here. You get 10 to a pack.

Hey fellas, got any setups you would recommend for a med-high bite indoor clay tracks like WCRC, OCRC, or any other tracks with similar grip characteristics? Since the 210 has a good amount of rear grip, I'm looking for a setup that will provide me with plenty of steering. I was hoping to try MM but it seems like the majority of the setups online use RM3 or 4 and only saw one with MM3(Lutz) for indoor clay.

I'm going to get my 210 soon and need a great baseline setup. Thanks.


Also, where are you guys getting tapered pistons from: GHEA, RC Shox, Oople,etc? What should I use front/rear: 1.2,1.3,or 1.4 & 2,3,4 hole?
