TYPICAL GP...... that way they can sell at MAP on Tower Hobbies and UNDERCUT Us Hobby Shops and minimize our margins.....and they still make a HUGE Margin....

Not sure if Durango is staying in MY shop......

Too Bad..... Durango has some great Products... sad how this has transpired......

I dont know of any track here in LA that doesnt sell at retail prices so it doesnt bother me that I would end up paying $2.00 more for a set of arms when it would cost $2.99 to have them shipped.

Guess I'm spoiled because mine is the same way. Sorry if I ruffled feathers not my intention. I think my LHS use GP as a distributor, havent had an issue getting any parts....actually preordered my Desc210R from them.

I've got to get out to AZ. That track looks like FUN! My other brother Mike runs 1/10th scale buggy, racing track (why didnt they just leave it stadium), and 1/10th scale SC. Roadtrip!

It really isnt a CHANGE for the consumer

But an unreasonable DECREASE in Profits for the LHS to endure...

thats my Point... Sell price has not change.... LHS Cost has increased by 20%

hard to justify $2000-$3000 in stock investement at a very LOW proffit margin.....

Anyways my $.02... just frustrating is all after months of waiting and support ta get a slap in the face like this

oh

Ya it took me a while to get cost down from GP when I started using them. But was eventually able to get my cost down similar to what it was with HRP/Horizon. Just need to negotiate with your sales rep. I ended up having the rep fly out to the shop I ran to show him what we did and how GP would benefit from us using them as a primary distributor for us(at their expense since I refused to use them at the time). Granted this was some time ago when I ran Hobby Action in Tempe.

Are you guys using the diff and thrust bearings grease that came with the kit? or using AE? I know all the local losi drivers are using AE.

Kit grease works great. I bought a tube of white lithium grease and put 4 small dabs equally around the diff gear. Place only in the teeth. This will make everything smooth and quiet.

AE black stealth grease is all I use along with the clear AE grease on the diff rings.
