Hey Guys got a couple of chassis to run this summer in blinky and mod.

People mention the taper pistons, are they ghea or the durango stock ones are taper? Also I am having trouble finding the correct springs around these parts so losi ones work? The rear shocks are shorter so does it affect anything? Those are easy to get actually...

Also had a question about reading the setup sheets. The front trailing axle needs 2 things to setup in the car. The type of part, which is ticked in most sheets and how to install the part. I am not sure how to orient the part though. There is one field in the sheets which says 0mm from front, does that mean say I select the 4mm axle holder and mount it such that the axle is furthest away from the rear wheel (i.e almost inline) ?

Hey Raul

I would buy extra rear hubs, gear cover, and shock tower set, other than that i am very happy. Build the stock ball cups right and you should be okay with the tranny camber mount. If you pop alot of ball cups, replace them and have a camber link "Fix" in your tool box.
How does the Durango do on outdoors-high traction, you probably just sold me on getting one now.

Um, I am really confused, or totally missing something..How did mounting the shocks on the back of the tower increase the wheelbase?

Without comparing arms side by side, my assumption would be that the offset of the arms is such that running the left or the right and right on the left moves the hub back a bit. No matter for us, still running stock configuration and loving it.

Hey Raul
The kit pistons aren't taper.
This should help with the inserts.

Ah, I knew I was missing something, for some reason I was thinking about the ZX5-SP when I first saw the pic, and the way they used to move the shocks to the back of the arm..thanks for the clarification...

On the DEXC410R which is what I was talking about, you flip the a-arms over and to allow the shocks to mount backwards, which moves the hubs back, giving a longer wheel base.
