Whats the amount of shims should I use when using the sc10 diff in mm or inches? I ran it last weekend and I wrecked a idler gear? I run my 210 on carpet this time of year so the gear diff is a must have.

thanks

HPI Z892.

I used 10 on each side. I had a hair of play side to side which was about the same as the stock ball diff.

yes they fit but the fronts require lots more preload than the 210 ones

Shimming the diff Im a little unsure but idle gears will suffer as I think the ae diff is a different diameter than the stock one so there will always be a risk that youll somke them

I ran 87/25 with an 8.5, but I run a 7.5 now at 87/23.

Raul, is the 83 spur from TD? I haven't heard of that one.

Anyone have a good Loose dirt outdoor setup, the usual tire setup is Red IFMAR Studs or M3 Calibers in the rear and Red 7202's upfront. Gonna try to keep it RM3 but might try RM4 to gain a little bit more traction

Are those the tires that work best for you, or are they what everyone else runs?

I would start back at the kit setup, and adjust your oils for your track's jumps. Also, stock or mod?

IMO:
-RM4
-battery all the way back.
-raise your front and rear roll centers. Start with 1mm f/r
-3rd outer hole on the rear hub
-start -1 camber all around
-slight toe out front
-Hot Bodies Gigabites Pink rear or Proline Holeshots M4
-Longest wheelbase setting on rear hubs

You could also try some more rear toe, but only as a last option if you're still struggling for traction.

Sweet, im not far from box stock so it should be easy

Tires are a combo of personal experience/everyone else, when it was really nice I could get away with Green Flip Outs, I am collecting Losi Springs (atm running Orange front/White rear for indoor)

a little vid from last year (it is shared with 1/8th)- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAciMZqtApc

Default team durango gear diff

I have heard that the gear diff is recalled due to
them being slightly to big for the casing, it fits together ok but when it
swells it cracks the gear casing etc. So they have been redesigned and have
been told they will be in early late next week at durango

anybody ?

Ill guess I will wait for the second batch
