Of course i am biased but those things REALLy make a huge difference! I am always tuning and messing with so many cars at any given time that i always forget about particular settings on my cars. Last week i was at Katy RC driving my 210 and was consistently hitting 37's but its a loose bumpy track and quite a handfull with a boosted 8.5! So on my last pack i decided to play with slipper setting just to see what would happen. i loosened it up enough so i could just barely make one of the sets of doubles that took a "blip" to get over them and my times dropped to high 34's with a best of 34.5. crazy thing is that it would still pull the wheels while the slipper was slipping!!

I ran RM3 for awhile and struggled with getting a Mod motor setup to work. I switched to RM4, 17.5 Revtech (I know, motor is a big change), and have always ran a shorty all the way back.

Car was dialed on my track's old layout. Never had issues with steering and has been Top 3 and one TQ every time I've ran it. I've also turned faster lap times than everyone else that has run 17.5 against me.

I honestly don't think running RM4 makes the front end lighter. Rotating the car in the air gets a little less aggressive from RM3, but you can have too much control in the air.

Side note, the last time I raced before the track change, I convinced two other 210 drivers to try RM4 and they loved it. I don't think I'll ever change back to RM3.

I'm running the old uncut Stagger glued narrow on a cut-down wheel with no foam inside. Very good on high-traction carpet.

We'll see next thursday what's quickest. Guessing there will be quite some confusion though as you've managed to paint one of the cars black like mine. Only difference is I have white window frames. Kinda hard to spot those over the long straight flat out. Keep running yellow wheels on that ride so we can part them in action!

I didn't like the gear diff. The balance isn't there. Plus they are heavy, the Arrma one especially.
