For you guys that are running shorty's, are you running them up against the servo? Or one spot back?

Cush's car is all the way forward against the battery stopper. My servo is a bit deeper than his so I have one thin battery pad between the battery and the servo, only because it would be rubbing on the servo otherwise.

I run a full sized SC10 battery pad in the back of the car, and then the battery, and then a small pad between the battery and the servo (however much space is left).

Any Durango drivers out at Motorama PA come hit me up in the Traxxas Booth. Far back corner of the speed room. Name is Alex. Looking to see some Durango up top all weekend.

Pictures really don't do it justice at all. We just got ours yesterday from Tresrey USA and it is one of the finest upgrade parts I've installed. Now if only they were anodized in Tresrey red.

Not that exact method but it's all basically the same. Only problem I had was finding the right dyes.

Some of the Tresrey stuff doesn't look anodized though. Some look like powder coated but I could be wrong.

Is there an actual weight saving with the CF towers or are people just adding them for bling alone?

Mostly for strength, the stockers were breaking..The Cream front tower is the nicest I have seen so far IMO..

Yes, very true. The pictures don't do it justice. I can't get over how thick it is..

The mounts anodized in Tresrey red would put this piece over the top!!

Everything I have seen that was red from Tresrey is anodized.

Bling is part of it- let's face it, CF is just sexy, especially for upgrade parts. There is a definite upgrade in strength though when switching to the CF tower. The beauty of the Cream towers offered by Tresrey USA is that you get not only the strength and sexyness of CF, but also the factory ballstud locations, unlike some other CF towers made for the 210.
