Sweet, I'm still good on that part but I want it for when or if the case mounts go.
I just got my front CF tower. Looks sweet on the car. I think the screws could have been a little longer. Not that I run a front sway bar but there isn't much thread left if you leave the sway bar retainers on. The stock ones the same way though.
Thanks for the speedy n safe delivery .

So it seems the shock orings have a fair bit of drag out of the box. Has anyone tried a different brand or used a smaller spacer?

Try loosening the lower shock caps a tad. If you make them too tight the black spacer will compress the o-rings too far and can cause excessive friction.

Another thing you can do is sand down the spacer with fine grit paper if you still have alot of friction.

I use one stock O ring and one HPI clear one. The HPI clears are quite a bit softer, it seems to be a good compromise running one of each as my shocks are nice and smooth but don't leak a bit either.

How dirty does your oil get after a day a Mikes? The stock o-rings don't seem to protect very well.

still clear after a day. Are you using any green slime on your O rings? Helps out alot with keeping the shock both smooth and well sealed.

some says that you need to soak it in oil first prior installation, mine i changed it and used Kyosho P3 Rings. and no leaks and dirt on my oils.

Is there a big difference in friction between the non and low ring?

Honestly i dont know, i also asked that to my friend that did the same to his Car. maybe similar to losi's low friction oring whereby you need to put the low friction inside and the standard one on the outer most to keep of the dirt. might try that one, one of these days.

New body and switched to rm3 from mm4. Was a lot more forgiving in rm then mm on my indoor clay track.

I did the same trying to unscrew it bound up and broke. Got new one from Durango. Make shur that the ball cups line up right and u should have no more probs. Think that the one i broke was thin on one side. Hope this helps.
