Another good outing with the 210 on the ozite..set TQ first round, re-set TQ second round with a 1st in the main Really liking this car!! even though I am running unforgiving carpet over concrete with carpet covered wood jumps, still have yet to pop a stock ball cup(knock on wood).

I have only had my ball cups pop off twice. both times were the on the steering linkages. One from being pushed into the wall on the sweeper exiting the front straight and other time was from hitting a poll that rests just after a decent sized triple.

I think both times it prevented a break in my steering knuckles if they had not popped off.

I assembled them also using the guide on the TD blog.

I checked it out but I prefer something made out of cf or aluminum. Maybe Diggity will come up with something.

Just got my dex210 from kwilke on here (geat seller btw). Can't wait to run this buggy. I love the look and feel of it. Anyone here run theirs on carpet? Any suggestions? I am going to run it RM first with a shorty lipo and see what happens.

If you are running on carpet, start with MM4.

if your on ozite schumacher minipins in yellow on the rear, with yellow schumacher cut stagger ribs on the front.I have been running MM3 on our short carpet track.for oils I am running 4 holes /30 wt R 4 hole 35wt F .1.3 holes all around.Still stock springs.I need 1 stage stiffer in front though.Take advantage of the mid configs.carpet and turf is where they excell. At our track the mid cars are almost 2 full sec. a lap faster than the r motor cars.

Huh, you'll wait for.something that might get released than something that is available from a respectable brand.....lol.

He's a good guy and tests all his pieces before release or posting. The tracks we ride are 8th scale designed primarily then with 10th scales in mind. Just saying the part could hold u over until the aluminum piece is designed.

Are you degreasing the screw and shock shaft? Is the washer on the shock shaft?

Clean the screw and threads in the shock shaft with contact cleaner (or similar). Let it dry.
Apply threadlock to the screw, and threads. Let it set a while.
Re-apply threadlock, and assemble the shaft/washer/piston/screw.
Leave it over night, or until it cures, then build your shock.

Take a look at the carpet setups on the TD website.

I run mine MM4 with a full size lipo and 66grams underneath it.
