Funny how he blasts thru the rythm section multiple times and take you out half the time.
Wish we had a 17.5 blinky at our local track.
We barely get any buggies to come out and it's almost always mod.
Actually that green / white / blue buggy is mine, and is a 210, is 17.5 blinky, and completely legal. I'm running RM3 69 / 34 gearing, SpeedPassion MMM V3.0 17.5 motor max'd timing, Protech 70c shorty battery, Tekin RS Pro and you can see the lights blink through the body. I've had some help setting up the car from Steve and Patrick and it runs really good right now.

Default jumping RM3 v's RM4

currently running RM4, and was wondering does motor rotation affect the noise up/down attitude? Even with alot of weight towards the front, this car is harder to adjust the pitch attitude mid flight.

was wondering if RM3 would be better for jumping........

Default Leaky shocks

I have been battling keeping oil in my shocks since I built my car. I thought I might have smushed the o rings so I got some more in and I am still having the same problem. As of now I am refilling the shocks for each run. Looking for a permanent fix for the problem. And if any local guys read this don't say sell the car.

I use associated shock seals in mine and no leaks at all

some nice driving there!!so nice I am going to use this vid as a demonstation for our newbs that have joined the buggy class..it displays how back traffic SHOULD just leave a small window for the leaders to get past..right now we have a bunch of 1st year guys that came from the SCT class that even if you have 10 laps on them they just wont let you past without an absolute battle..anyway thanks this will be an excellent way to help get the point across...

Ed, that buggy that kept catching Teeforb was Uncle Charlie in his Losi......that was not your car.

Make sure you check your plastic shock parts for burs and size. Nicks or parts that have flashing will not allow the parts to full seat and seal.

My apologies Mopar.
It was just considerably faster than the rest of the field.
I meant no offense at all.
In fact, I have a 17.5 Revtech with HT Rotor on a 2wd SC boosted to the Max and it is a screamer. 17.5's can definately behave like a 10.5 or better.
I will keep in mind the gearing you are using as I am planning to run a 17.5 on my 210 as well.
Now if they can add a 17.5 class for buggies at my local tracks.....

thanks

Hope your lucky starting up 17.5 blinky in your area, and I take no offense. This is proof you don't need a 6.5 motor to go fast. That same night I threw down my old MF2 stadium truck in the mod class running 17.5 blinky as well to see how well that worked and it ran great. The track race director Glen wants to push stock classes for stadium truck and short course as well. I'm ready to try my 410 with the same set-up.

Those Associated o rings stretch around the top of the durango shocks. They are leaking from the top where they go together. No I don't think there are any burs on the shock caps. the o-rings are squishing out.

Never had a problem with my shock caps leaking....tighten by hand just snug. if the o-ring is squishing out then the cap is too tight. Had a guy at my track with the leaking cap problem and he was tightening the caps down until the o-ring started squeezing out...his caps leaked. I built one of shocks the way I always do and it never leaked. He hasn't complained about it again.
