I don't think the front end is a little light, I think the rear end is a little heavy. The B4's front end is MUCH lighter, and it steers like its on a track.

I'm in the process of trying to pick up some spares for my buggy when it comes and I was wondering if anyone is running the 69 tooth spur gear or the 75 tooth spur gear.

I run on a medium large track and I'll be using a Tekin 8.5 with RS pro. Would either of the aforementioned spur gears be good choices to run?

Also out of curiousity does anyone make a 14mm hex wheel or do we have to use the Durango wheels?

Thanks

75t would be the better spur of the two..

DE Racing makes wheels, both front and rear for the DEX210 buggy.

If you are running an 8.5, get the RW 81 tooth spur. You will run that with a 25 pinion or so. Use the 75 for a 17.5.

I'm running 81/24 with an 8.5 right now. So try 75/23

The 210 could use a little weight loss. I was thinking Ti screws and the lightened motor plate when it is released.

What is everyone running for motors? I plan on running a Tekin RS 13.5, or 10.5. I run on a medium - large indoor clay track. My buddy had a 13.5 in his 22, and that felt pretty good. I've never driven a 10.5.. So I'm not sure what to expect

Found some outdrives. Never heard of the shop before but will take a chance as I want to race this weekend.

Does anyone know where I can find a gear cover?? I hope some one makes one out of lexan or good plastic. The stock unit is so brittle, I have crack 2 of them.

The Dex210 is bad azz... BTW

Speaking of RPM, I emailed them when the 210 was hitting the shores. I informed them of problems some where having with the stock ballcups and suggested RPM to make replacement units. They should fit the standard Durango ballstuds and have the hole in the cup. They said they were unaware of this issue and would look into it. Currently am using the RPM longshank cups throughout and work flawlessly.

Are you using those with the stock balls?

No, I am using the nitride coated TC5 ballstuds from AE. I kept the stock Durango link that connects the servo horn to the bellcrank, but all others are RPM. The stock Durango turnbuckles work well but will switch to Lundsford Ti units soon.
