Here's a few things I made so you know they won't be junk. Left to right..DESC410 front hinge pin blick with 2.5mm extra stock added to the front, brass side weights, TLR22 front camber block I made a week after the release of the buggy.
Curt's stuff is super high quality! Wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from him!

The instruction manual is clear and concise as any of the best Iíve ever seen. Super easy to follow and 100% small parts blow up so you can hold the screw/washer up to the manual to make sure itís the right one.

guess that at rccaraction the overlooked the wrong partnumbers etc. etc. in the manual.

the manual that came with the kit is one of the worst Ive seen

for a proper build use the online version
And no mention of the cir-clip diff build.

That was the worst build review I have read. Sorry RC Car Action, but I would have elaborated on quite a few steps. Especially the ones that separate this kit from the rest.

On those toe blocks, I am in as well.

What's up guys? I'm in dire need for some a-arm pivot balls. If you have any you can spare I'd be glad to pay you a couple bucks a piece to mail them to me. Can't seem to find any in stock anywhere and would like to race next weekend. Please help!

Here's the part I'm in need of.......

I dont think these blogs are meant to be a complete reveiw/buildup...it's just meant to give you a basic idea of what went into it.

That being said, he did mention (and gave the link) to use the Team Durango online diff guide to build the trans as well as the turnbuckles.

I actually told him what to look for while building the car and I gave him a little more detailed info than what he posted.

Gotcha. Thanks for the extra info/effort that went into to the article. I guess I was under the impression that I was going to read an article about the car and the build, rather than 10-12 steps or so. Maybe a full review will be coming soon for the mag.

Inside carpet largish track MM4

I built a set today with 4* 1.2 and went with 25 F / 30 R with dark green springs

Little bit cold in the hall and lengthened to the outer position on the rear hub

Car seemed kinda lazy, might try 5wt thinner in both next time.

I ended up going back to my other set
6*1.2 / 40F and 6*1.3 35R with dark green and moving to the 3rd hole in the hub.

Felt a little better but think Ill have to go to the dark blue spring, 1 step harder as it was diving a bit in the corners

Thoughts on this?

For those of you running 17.5 blinky mode can you let me know what gearing seems to be working. I'm running on a medium sized indoor high bite clay track with a revtech 17.5. Thanks.

I was at 5.6 with a DualSky 17.5 timed at 20deg, motor never really got over 120deg and was faster than anything else on the track

34/75 will put you at 5.74 and
35/75 will put you at 5.57

I ran 35/75 at the Spektrum race, the car was plenty fast.
Temps were right at 120 after a 5 minute run.
