I used the fuzzy side of velcro cut into thin strips to take the movement out.

A little glue and some kicker......or you can use a toothpick glued in and cut off.

For an unboosted 13.5 setup, you will want to start somewhere around 78/28 or 81/29-30

Here is your 81... im not sure how large of a pinion you can fit with the 81 though... im not sure a 30 would fit. Id say run a 78, but RW doesn't make one, you have to go down to a 75... heh.. if you wait 10 minutes, Ill go see how large a pinion you can fit with an 81

an 81/30 fits great... with the motor all the way back, there is perfect teeth spacing. 81/31 is too tight. So you should have no problems runnin a 13.5 with the 81 spur... 28, 29, or 30 tooth pinion.

If you want to run the motor closer in, you will need to bump down to the 75 RW (also on ebay), and adjust your gearing accordingly.

Just ordered. 81 off EBay. Got pinions 29,30 and 31 coming on the am. It's crazy how u think your so close to being ready to run then remember u need to get the gearing right before u hit the track cause you'll have no parts. Thanks again dude!

Get the 28 instead of the 31... you wont need the 31.

I'm going to be running 17.5T blinky. Anyone have experience with the 69T or 75T spur?

My kit is on its way *dances*

what would be a good gearing start point for a Orion V2 13.5 w/ Tekin RS with or w/o boost and planning on reaming out a AE 75T spur for now
