For front arms try these guys, worldofrcparts.com. They usually have Durango stuff in stock. I just checked, they have front arms.

REMEMBER: Boil your arms 3 min. Less likely to crack.

I threw up on the boards some spares for those who need em, in particular a brand new +8mm cab forward body.

Dusted of the rust with a few practice laps, that was all I had time for. The first few races showed a little more rust then I had hoped. The v5 is nice!, smooth driving buggy. By the end of the night I had my Kyosho SC6 starting to get back to where it should be. Then comes the Exotek conversion. It was a rough night. The few practice laps I did with the buggy were pretty good. I thought that it was going to be a good night. The second corner of the first qualifier my shock eyelet pulled out from the shock shaft. The second qualifier was a little better but the buggy was loose in the rear. I did get a few very nice laps with the new chassis but I was fighting with the buggy most of the night. Once I work on a set up for this chassis I think it will be nice. I should have left my v2 set up as a starting point. This probably would be a nice gauge to start with. I wish I could be more helpful with some information. I am looking forward to next Saturday night. We run on an indoor dirt track. It is about 60 x 50 in size.

Cain - the widest part of the Exotek chassis is 115.40 mm.

Ran my Exotek Durango at a track I tested at a few weeks back but this time totally new layout and totally new surface. The new layout slicks don't work and probably won't work for a few weeks. Pulled out some treaded tires from last time I ran treads their and after breaking the tires in a little bit the car came around and my laptimes on a green track where very good. Very difficult to get clean laps on the new layout with so many practicing. Overall Ilike last time I didn't make any changes except to test a rear spring change but other wise was just testing to get use to the layout and wear in some tires. Great night overall as the car worked well and is on pace with where I need to be for such a green track. Race conditions at this track are easily half second to a full second a lap faster so even at half a second faster put me easily on A main pace at this time. Don't mean that will happen but at least its on pace.

Yeah I'm a little pissed. Honestly my guess Arrma that Great Planes pushed has something to do with it. Maybe Durango is getting retooled and or relocated possibly. Just a guess but sucjs as I just bought a Dex210F that is like new and I have a Dex8 and was looking for a Detc410v2 as well but right now will hold off onanymore Durango stuff for right now. Sucks as I like their stuff.

Thanks. The plan B chassis is slightly narrower so I am thinking any body that I was finding working on there would work on the exotek too.

And if that is the case, from what I recall the Xray XB2 body I tried on my vehicle fit really nice. Just $$$ since its xray of course. But, with Jconcepts now making an xray body, could be an option too.

If you guys run with any xray xb2 drivers, can you test fit a body on your car if you have the exotek or plan b chassis?

Its a shame that Durango doesn't seem to care about their customer support because I really like the 210 but what is the point if there is no support and no parts eventually. Maybe Great Plains will sell them to someone that is a bit more passionate about the company!

I can confirm no new 2wd from Durango to replace the v3 right now.

sooooooo. I am wondering whats up with the hold up with parts and kits. Essential parts such as the v3 arms, and 210F bodies are out everywhere and kits like the v3 are unavailable and the 210F have "limited quantities" I taught that the reason to get rid of the pro team was to focus on the club lever racer as well as better customer/parts support. Only thing that has changed is..... that now they don't have a pro team of drivers... Parts support and customer service still has the same issues as before.

With the front arm shortages, is there any advantage to going back to the V1 arms/towers on carpet? If I remember right, the V2 arms were designed more for larger, American (dirt) tracks where you need more ground clearance. That's not an issue on carpet.
