I think it is. It's lighter, so much easier to work on the transmission. Since your stock go with the slipper eliminator as well.

Anyone have the new Exotek chassis kit on their car and care to post any pics of it? Not sure what I will do for the upcoming indoor season. I don't want to wait til Ocotober to get something as I want to have it built and race ready by mid September at the latest.

Just order it Wyd. It looks awesome!! It's way cheaper than buying a whole new car and it should handle great!!

Yeah it is heaper for sure. Think I would order the rear bulkhead as well. Good thing I have another month or so to think about it but then I'm going to pull the trigger.

I have the rear bulkhead. It's a nice piece. I think with the new chassis this car will handle so much better. And the ability in the future for "Fred" (hint hint) to design a lay down tranny, will make it more versatile.

Default YZ2 wing mount on Dex210

Using the STRC graphite/carbon fiber tower. Used the existing two lower holes and drilled two upper ones. If you have the exotek shock tower I think a B5 wing mount may work because the holes are closer together and the exotek is narrower.

If using the new Durango wing. It will clear the shocks w/o trimming. You can see where mine was trimmed with the stock shock tower.

Plus the ability to use bodies made for the Losi buggy will be a nice feature on the new chassis.

curious, anyone have a plan B chassis and can advise what bodies work? Looking at the one I have in comparison to a stock body, there is some space, probably half an inch on each side at the bodies widest point, I wonder if it could use a more narrow body.

Cain,
I don't have a plan B. But comparing plan b to the new exotek. I would think the Losi body would work as well.

Also, the YZ2 plastic wing mounts got a good test today with my son doing some speed runs with his car, took a couple big spills, cart wheels.. Mounts are fine.

Cain, did those parts you ordered from Intech work?? I see they have shock shafts without the screw. Wonder if their shock pistons are he same size as Durango's?
