I currently have a dex210v1. Want to get the plus 8 chassis. I know I will need the side pods to go with for type b chassis. Do I need the type B gear box and front bulk head too if converting some stuff?
The other parts are great upgrades, but no you don't need them. You should just need the chassis and side pods to stretch it out.

Hey guys, I am thinking of really running with the dex210F only here. If I do, I'll probably post up both a DEX210V2 and a DEX210V2-Plan B conversion version up for sale. These would include a variety of parts and upgrades that would be specific to the cars (exotek cover, rear mid motor tranny case weight, etc to name a few) , also, lots and lots of tires on my "favorite", yellow wheels, lol.
If anyone has interest and wants to be notified first, feel free to shoot me a pm.

I've decided to dump my 210 after all as well. I've got everything out of it, even the shock oil. I have lots of Exotek goodies on mine. I've got the lightweight top shaft, gear cover, steering rack, and rear MM aluminum bulkhead. I've also got full sets of optional springs, extra shocks, and carbon fiber front towers. It can be converted to the V1 or V2 front end from the current setup using the longer shocks. It can also be converted to the V2 rear shocks setup from the current V1. The Exotek parts alone are worth more than what the entire car will probably fetch.
Let me know when they go up for sale and how much, I'm a Durango hoarder so if the funds allow I'm interested.

Cain and all other durango fans, i want you to show my durango laydown trany version!
It's still in a kind of a early process, but it looks like, it could be working fine...
I do have a vintage restoration project running right now, so i do not spend to much time on the 210, but will update here, as things are going further!
If you are interrested, i can do some more detailed pics?
Sorry for the pour pic.

...and one from the rear end!
WOW!!! That's gonna be bonkers when its done! Get moving, I want to see it done!
Yup. I've had this car for a few years and have been tempted to get rid of it many times. I like to tinker with things so I've always just kept playing with it. I've hit the point where it's truly time to move on. My DEX8 is even on ebay right now. I don't have a modern replacement for it and don't get to a track often enough to justify another one at this time. I'm really too busy with family and work. I'm big into vintage and also have my own dirt oval company called Raborn Racing Originals so I'm working on that for a while. I do have a Raborn Racing Originals fb page where I'm always posting updates btw. The closest thing I have to a modern 2wd is a B42 that I built, which is a B44 with a B4 front end. It is very similar to the DEX210F.

The gear box will fit in any chassis. The only difference is that the type B has one more position for the ball links on its sides.
Cheers
