quick question. I've been running this car with regular stick packs that are in the heavy side. would it be worth it to spend extra $$$ and get shorty packs? Would i see an advantage? thanks for the response.

it will feel more nimble for sure. I would also give the sideways shorty setup a look.

Big difference in my opinion. I switched from 4000 mAh stick packs to 4400 shorty about 8 months ago and the car came alive. Able to clear triples, couldn't before. More nimble. Check out SMC batteries. Great price for what you get.

May have to soften your springs or dampening....or both.

Schumacher Spurs are a direct fit, use the machined ones, they cost half of the durango's, but have fewer sizes available.

Ok, material did not arrive today!
I did drill the holes for the front brace, it is quit close to the servo mount, if you would like to run the servo in standard posission, but it could work, because you clamp the screw with this mount, too!?

I'll may make my own front side wall out of POM, i have laying arround, as i don't need a very complicated one, because of the layed down servo.

Here are two pictures, to show, how close it is to the rounded space for the servo mount.

Oh, i forgot to show how easy this 20* mod on the front bulk head is!

For those who want to try this, you just need to mill 2 mm off at that point, where the very front of the chassis sits in the bulk head.(right side at the pic)
I put an 2 mm thick spacer underneth the front side, left the rear side as it is, so i got that angle i needed. (The bulkhead i used for the pic, is a new one!)
Than i was slowly run with an milling bit from my dremel into the plastik, just adjust so, that at the very rear side nothing will removed. (Left side at the pic)
You have to be carefully a little bit, as the plastik of the bulkhead is very soft.
A fiew pieces that where left, i cuted off with an exacto kniff!

That's it!

Sorry, it's hard for me to explain, hope you understand what/how i mean?

heck, I got an alloy bulkhead here if anyone wants to mod for 20 degrees. I'd be game to try, figure I would keep it for high traction anyway.

I wonder if Durango will have any setups posted on Petitrc that JP and Travis ran this weekend at Motorama? Would be interesting to see how they have their cars setup since I saw the track. It was hard packed clay that wasn't very smooth at all. Very choppy overall.
