I remember back in the day that Academy had a vehicle that you could adjust kickup by the hingepins if I recall correctly.

I have a VBC Firebolt, you can use the front bulkhead to set your kick up.
One direction gives you 25 degrees, the other is 30.

What brands make spur gears in the stock usable sizes other than durango, looking for a 69T spur.

I see one problem with that, as by changing the kickup with those inserts, the shock tower stays the same, so the angle from arms/hinge pins change to the shock tower than!?

no luck finding those in the USA.

From what i have heard though, the AE spur gears will work with a slight opening of the mount hole, so I'll probably pick up a few of those to try.

Are you running a slipper eliminator? Exotek has one and you can run their gears or Kimbrough gears. It might make getting gears that small easier to find?

I was going to say the same thing. It's not something that I'd do.

Right now I have a slipper eliminator on the Dex210, but popped the gear on my DEX210F. And of course, it was one of those nice expensive machined ones so when I got to setup the dex210 for dirt, it will need a gear with the slipper. As it sits though, I am liking the dex210F enough I may try it on dirt lol.

I wonder if you had say an insert that handles both the insert angle and the upper tower angle too?

The issue may be as easy as just installing spacers on the upper shock mount to push the top of the shocks forward when using less kick. I know Losi doesn't move the tower with various front kick angles, and maybe it's really that big of a deal, but I like my shocks perpendicular to the arms. That's why I don't like rear mounting shocks on the rear arms. I have to space the tops out really far.

I believe Schumacher gears work on the dex with no modification. Lowest I've seen is 71 though.
