Wyd,
I like being odd man out as well and racing something different. Everybody at my track has B5's and they all copy each other. Love to tune and figure it out myself.
Go Team Durango. This car was so far ahead of itself. Losi and associated are just catching up.
I'm with you.

Would like to hear some thoughts on weight. Will the 210F be heaver than the 210 V3. It looks like the alum part of the chassis is larger on the 210F.

Cain,
I still use all the stock Durango ball cups and studs so I am unable to recommend a good 4.8mm ball stud. I read threw all these pages and the HPI ones come up because they are cheaper. I hear the Losi ones are good too. Make sure you get long enough ones for the rear hub if using plastic. You want the ball stud to go all the way through so you can put a nut on to keep from pulling out.

Using TDs spec sheets - DEX210v3, DEX210F - the DEX210F has a lighter approximate 'racing weight'

Thanks for posting those weights, both seem a little heavy?

Its always been like that with Team durango cars in the Buggies.

2wd usually 1550-1650g depending on batteries used etc

4wd usually 1750-1850g as above

They are not the lightest for stock but great for Mod

looking at the weight comparison I quickly did between my titanium turnbuckle links and the stock "links", there was some weight savings to be seen there thats for sure. When I get a chance I'll throw my vehicle up on the scale and see.

I got in some racing action yesterday, indoor carpet that was a mixture of ozite and landing carpet as the main surface in a few areas.

I went with a dino setup with a few changes, or at least, what I changed from my setup sheet:

- Plan-B chassis with lipo to the rear
- 3K diff fluid weight versus the 5K I had on my list
- My ball studs that work for the cups I use, I setup them up as close as possible to the "stock" ball studs as far as height is concerned
- 3 gear setup
- lightened diff, top shaft, and slipper eliminator

in comparison to the last time I ran the vehicle on carpet, the vehicle was on rails, even more so than before. It felt a bit more consistent in handling. I can't think of anything I would change other than working on my power plant as I probably can gear up even more as the motor came off cold. Or, maybe the motor just doesn't have the guts like others had so maybe need a new stock motor.

No damage, I do need to do that velcro setup as I will say the body clip deal sucks.

Hell of a vehicle against the field of losis and AEs.

Hi,
Are there any other shocks that are compatible with the v2? I have rebuild it countless of times and it still leaks.

Ran my DEX210V3 for the first time this weekend in stock and car was very good overall. Had great low speed steering and pretty decent mid to high steering. I have a few more changes to make on the car adjustment wise but only did two adjustments during the weekend of racing since my first round my new stock motor didn't work so only made round 2 and the mains. I qualified 9th and had to run the B main and bump up. Only had 3 rounds til the A main. Started 10th and was up to 4th in about 3 laps. Car ran great but due to my motor not having enough time to cool down and my gearing being off for the 10 minute A main my motor got a little hot and thermal esc protection shut it down for the motor getting warm. Not a huge deal as I normally don' run stock and guessed on gearing and timing on my motor. Overall for the limited time with the car I really like how it runs. I have some oil changes, pistons, and a few other little tweaks and then my V3 will faster.

Wyd,

Congrats to that result!
It looks like, you do have much toe out at the front end on the picture, or does it just look like!?

Awesome to hear it's working well.

For Velcro I had some of those precut round, I would say about an inch in size. They work great. Cut post off and your set.

Its was from my B5M. I just cut a little off the back end of the hold down and it fit like you see it.

Micholix it is I guess an illusion. When on the ground I only run abut 1 degree of toe out. Your right in the picture it looks like i run about 15 degrees out.
