Yes, i do know, but the shorter v2(3) shocks and shafts does only compensate the higher mounting point from the v2 arms, to the v1's, not the problem of the max. uptravel.

Try to bottom out your 210 and try to lift your weel untill your shock stop it, there is only a fiew mm, if at all.

okay so to confirm, I only need the shorter shock shafts from the V2 shocks in my V1 bodies, and then look at the stop on the shocks, possibly remove or use a thinner oring for up travel.

I'm using the titanium 44 mm (V1) in the V2 bodies. If you are not using bladders and using emulsion they work fine. No need to order the 42.5mm ones. I switched out the rubber shock stopper and used orings. Like someone else stated. Gives u a few more mm of uptravel.

I think Fred is on to something I have yet to try. Use the DESC/DEST front shock tower and the V2 rear shocks up front. (31mm stroke and 52mm shaft). Use stiffer rear springs or the white series rear springs up front to fit your correct compression. This will allow for more uptravel.

"OR" maybe somebody could design a new front tower that was a little bit higher and we could use the v1 version front shocks? Fred? This should give us the down travel we want and up travel.

I think if u are using the v1 front shock bodies they are slightly longer than the v2. This would limit your uptravel even more. I could be wrong though.

gotcha. I'll probably just stick with the v1 a-arms then unless something becomes a prob.

Default What weight Diff oil?

For those of you running gear differential, for indoor med to high grip (electrons are good tire). What weight are you running. I'm running 7000 in my DEST, and 10000 in DESC. Going to switch over the DEX, thinking 5000?
Opinions?
THANK YOU!!

I run 10,000 in my 2wd cars on high bite carpet. I'm probably going to go down to 7,000 and see if it helps with my on power steering.

On a side note, I got the new V3 today! Gonna get it built when my parts order shows up this week. Im excited for a fresh car.

Going with the sticker is a bit odd. They could have at least put it over the V2....lol

yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that when the v2 went discontinued they probably just needed to open up the boxes and chuck in the right packages.

honestly it doesn't give the feel of a new version. Might as well called it the V2.1 at that point.

Still love the car though.

Probably did it to use existing stock. Later runs will probably be V3 specific.

for those in the know, am I correct that AE's 69T spur gear is the same as the kimbrough ones that are mentioned to be used with the exotek locker? they look the same on towers site so I ordered some as they were cheaper than the official kimbrough ones. So curious if anything diff.

As long as its the spur for the TC3/4 touring car it should work the same.

I think that I got one of the first to hit towers shelves. I'm sure they will revise the box later in the year. If not its what's in the box that matters.
