No. It's fixed trailing but I forget if it's 3mm or 4mm trailing.

Why would you mod the front axles? I dont really see the advantage over stock configuration

Its mostly just for ease no bearings in the wheels and you have more selection of Front wheels with the hexs.

Also, 2WD front tires don't exactly break in quickly so it's nice to be able to grab some B4,B5, and a few other cars that use 12mm hexes.

Also I think the petitrc method was the first before the B5 setup and I think it also uses slightly larger bearings. Can anyone else confirm?

I'm afraid of the wheel standard that ROAR is going to come out with later this year. They are going to provide dimensions that everyone is expected to follow for wheels. While some may say that's a good thing, and it certainly can be, I fear that they'll get the profile wrong. They need to keep it simple. Adapt the 4wd front wheel. Done. That's the ultimate in compatibility.

Yee but if local tracks don't follow the Roar crap than it should affect anything on the wheels should be able to run what you want.

Hi all. I am thinking about getting a DEX210v2 to race in 17.5. Are there any additional parts that are needed to make this a good, durable racer? I am going to get tires (obviously) and the usual springs and shock oils. What else might I need? It is going to be run both outdoors and indoors, on low and high bite tracks.

Thanks!

so we would all run 4WD wheels on our 2WDs? I like having one wheel and tire fore both 4WD and 2WD fronts in terms of lowering my number of tires and spares. I wonder how advantageous it is to have a narrower tire for increased pressure(lbs/sq. in) such as it would be with a 2WD tire with a smaller contact patch. I'll have to experiment more next time I am out. I hope to get some track time this week.

Im feeling pretty confident that you can use the B5 Castor block, B5 Spindle, B5 Axle, and B5 hex and that would give you your adjustment for inline or trail. Im just waiting on castor blocks to come in to my LHS and I'll let you guys know.
