I would recommend going to a shorty on your buggy to tune it better and reduce weight.

Yea im going with that electronic setup. Defietly going with Shorty packs soon only thing i don't like is that Shorty packs only come with inboard connection not direct wired out of the top or side .

The front end push i did notice that with the stick pack and the nose heavy that seem to stop when i let off the throttle in the air depending on how i approached the jump.

Im new to the buggy i haven't messed with a few things tuning wise.

Personally I like to run all my electronics down the middle. ESC in front of the battery. I've also noticed the car seems better with the battery farther forward now that the I'm running the longer chassis with MM4. I may even try a little weight under my servo.

Couple of pics for my new paint and electronic setup. I'm headed to either OCRC or SCRVC today for some practice. I'll try to post some videos/pics of that soon too. Thanks to all my forum peeps for helping me dial my cars in!

Associated just announced an MM3 gearbox for the B5M. It's not going to be long before everyone starts trying them and proclaims them the best mod ever. Just like they do with any new option. If a big name says it works, that's when people finally believe it. Finally some big love for MM3!

Anyone try to see if b5m outdrives work on the dex210? I've got 2 race days and a practice day on my new TD outdrives and they already look worse than the outdrives on my old t3.

a couple of pics Just before I started practice at OCRC yesterday

Is anyone else running the Exotek quick change rear suspension mount? I'm wondering if I should be using at least the red shim with the -2mm rear Durango mount that came with the v2. If I run it with no shims is that zero anti squat or is it -1 "pro squat" ??

I put a complete b5 ball diff in my 210v2 but the outdrives are too short during full droop. I'm guessing same issue would occur with b5 outdrives and TD Diff.

If LRC rear hanger then no spacers on front hanger = 0 anti squat. Add red spacer for anti squat

Ha yea they got the idea from Durango they were the first . I might try MM3 i think it would work better on clay than MM4 maybe and MM4 better on carpet ?

All i know is it may of been the MM4 or the gear radio on this buggy but i was whopping guys with the B5 mid motors off the line and in the corners on a small tight carpet track.

I've been running MM3 for several months now at my local indoor track with hardpack dirt/clay. I personally really like the "neutral" characteristics of the MM3 setup.

The only time I could see running MM4 over MM3 is on a loose, low traction track. Then again I'd just run RM3 there. I went to MM4 on our track once. I didn't really like it. I didn't like it on my 2 previous MM cars (XXX-Cr2, X6^2) either.

I love mm3, but I'm willing to be those b5m guys are going to hate it. Those cars just don't have enough weight over the rear tires to compensate for loosing the weight transfer mm4 creates. They're going to find they have much less grip, I think.

They'll hate it because there aren't any setup sheets to copy. When they do become available it'll be cars that are setup improperly that only work on high grip. Almost any setup works on high grip!

If they'd run the square pack or saddles and use no rear antisquat, they'd probably be ok.

I had actually considered picking up a B5M since I like MM with the option of running side by side saddle packs. The lack of MM3 was what stopped me. It's not really in the budget now but it is an option for the future. Assuming I don't have something else in the works.
