[QUOTE=Devin;13613165]The gear diff is a useless turd on my track. I tried one in my desc210. Even after we installed the watering system, not enough grip to make use of it. All the fast guys are ball diffs. It was weird, it handled best with 5K diff oil on our loose track rather than something low. Ball diff was just unquestionably better. I think we have one gear diff in a losi and that's it.

What that said, what does a ball rebuild entail? Do people normally re-use the balls? I am putting in new bearings for sure. Does the race thrust cage part get replaced as well, or am I OK to reuse it with maybe some new grease?[

Oh ok than a ball diff is for you than on the track you run on . Look at the B fast ball diff i heard there good .

I'm only running on carpet and high traction clay that's why im going to run a gear diff . And rather not mess with a ball diff if I have a choice .

For those interested the hobby pro prs1 v2 rear sway bar will work very well on the dex210.

I plan on running a gear diff, on a high bite oval track. A suggestion for gear weight would be appreciated.

Im seem to be having a issue with the gear diff for some reason. When i rotate the spur gear its free one spot than a other spot it grabs not locking up though still will move . I just followed what the manuel said just like when i put the ball diff in .

dint see any blurs on the gear or anything , With the ball diff it was real smooth and free. Tryed to take a shim off both sides on the diff where the bearing slides on to but samething just run no shims ?

The screws are at the right spot though the gearbox.

Its the V2 model so i know it says the Type B trans case can take both Ball and Gear diff .

Is it fine just run it and it will break in ?

I built one last night.. it's like butter.. 210v2.

Check your bearings especially on the output shaft etc... may want to fully disassemble, clean, reassemble the diff case make sure everything is lined up and fits tolerances.

They are just plastic gears, if its just a tight spot it should wear in

Default Rear shock tower position at the EOS cars from Jorn and Michal?

Does someone see the pictures galerery from the first round of the EOS offroad race?
Look how far behind the rear shock towers are.
It looks like, they have some MM tuning parts coming up, like they do for the RM configuration!?

Looks like a similar rear tower position to the B5M and TLR 22 in MM I assume there trying to take steering away?
