Thats a good set up. What servo, battery and radio did you go with?

for racing your first time you wont believe how much of a difference its going to be. if i were you i would buy a stock motor and start up in the beginner class if your track has one or the stock class, and then later learn to handle more power as a 10.5. it took me about 1.5 years to get there from running stock running weekly and weekly practice.

which is a good idea, get the feel for racing, hugging corners and understanding slow is fast, ive seen plenty of nightmares at my track of new people coming in using faster motors than anyone would think of. its a mess.

The b4 and the lazer are night and day differnences. Im sure you will do just fine, just dont get frustrated, and if you need to slow it down a little, drop a tooth or two on the pinion.

Good luck.

Nice buy. I also just got a b4, but I got the ft version. I got a novak havok 13.5, a nice 2s 5000 mah lipo, I'm also using a digital servo from hitec. Haven't hit the track yet but the car is fun on the street! I plan on racing just like you.
