I picked up one of the 80a combos,I haven't ran it yet but it sure looks nice and the LCD programmer is pretty slick.I got mine from rc-fans88.com for $160 shipped Ems and got it in 6 days all the way to Canada. If you become a member on there site you get a special price, and it's free to become a member. That's pretty much the cheapest I have seen it so far.

You know its too bad you cant pick which motor you want with either esc. Because I am debating on pcking up a F8T and would like to get the 80amp withthe 2000kv truggy motor for truggy. In truggy I wouldnt worry about having a sensored set up but in buggy I think its necessary, for me. Not that the 2250 buggy can wouldnt push around a big truggy.

I only heard 1 guy with a complaint about the Tekin motor with the Xerun esc's lots of guys are usin them with luck. I will be using mine sensored on SP and Tekin motors. I had a MMM/2200 and didnt like it in my buggy because of the cogging.

Does the xerun motor turn easy like a tekin or is it notchy like a Medusa or mamba.

Yes, you do not need more than a 4s in a buggy

How would the xerun 80a work with a Novak 4.5hv motor? Going into a scrt10.

Yes it will also I been suggesting the Speed passion motors over the Novak, they are a new design and are better quality also sensored. Thy have the v1 silver arrow motors at Amain but if you call Speed passion usa direct they have the V2 motors in stock. The V1 go from 3.5-8.5 and the V2 goes from 5.5-9.5. You are going to want a lower turn obviously since you are going to run 2 or 3s check them out. Ad they are the same price.

Its not as notchy as Medusa and much less notchy than neu-castle, but it is still notchy. I find the Xerun and Medusa motors run much smoother with the Xerun ESCs.

Malik- the 2250kv 4168SL motor will run the F8T fine. give it a shot. In lucky that my sensorless setup in my buggy is super smooth but that's because my buggy only weighs 5lbs so I use the 1/10-ESC which is really smooth.

I checked that site and it says $168 before shipping? Do you have a discount code or something?
