will the body fit if i run 5s ? is there any other bodies i should know about?

The stock bubble body works perfectly. A 5s 5000 fits with a very slight tough of the body and 5s 4000 won't touch at all.

Proline does not have much clearance for batteries. 808 stocker is my fav but still not perfect. You can shim up the front mount which helps a bunch. The BEST body for E808 is the Jconcepts body. Which is too bad because I also think it is the ugliest.

so the j will work with 5s? sorry to ask I either have to order it from my LHS or xray I want to b sure

yes it will work. Like I said if it is close than a small shim under the front mount will help. But it definitley has the most room.

what weight oil/lube is a good starting point in the frt,center and rear diff

Build it with the stock kit settings to start with and work from there. The stock kit setup is pretty close on most tracks and good baseline IMO.

thats just it I didn't get the book with it so I have not idea what to use.. I see the set-up sheets 4 frt ,5 center,3 rear

hello all ran my 808 e today and was wondering what i setup is a good starting point Im currently running ryan lopez from xray set-ups.. one other thing do u use the droop screws running full on the frt seems a bit much to me? ..running indoor clay tight... 5's 1900kv @ 70% or so..

A good starting setup is the standard one from the manual. But since you started with ryan lopez's, you can go from there if you liked it, making the adjustments you want/need/like.

1900 is a handfull on 5s. I run that motor on 4s and its tons of power! Dont think I could control it on 4s.

Just finished my 808E! Running Tekin 1400kv on Hyperion G3 6s 2600mah 35c (3sx2). Elite RC motor mount and Ofna LX-1E battery tray, RX/servo mount.

look's GOOD! why 2 3cells?... i just done mine with a monster setup.. what im going to try is a losi battery tray it gives u 1/2 inch to move the battery frt n back...
