Balance connectors are JST-XH or what is also called Align style balance connector.

Main power connectors - I change mine to deans.

Deans are the most common connectors by far, make the switch.

If you get that turnigy from hobbycity/hobby king, they sould have generic deans for next to nothing.

Deans are the best imo, but the generic ones are working really well for me, the surface finish on the bars seems to wear faster than the deans, though it hasn't been a problem at all.

The Accucel has the same JST-XH balance plug.

Why would you guys bother with the Turnigy 5000 20c when they have a 5200 30c for pretty much the same price?

Traxxas has its own connector and like Deans, it can't be plugged in backwards. With bullets, you can (and prob eventually will) plug the battery in with reversed polarity and zap both your batt and your esc.

I don't like the TRX connectors cause they're so large.

Is the size of the battery the same? You have to watch the dimensions of the turnigy to ensure they will fit into your battery box.

Not if you put the male on the + wire and the female on the - wire, and opposite on the battery. You don't want to do both males on the ESC and both females on the battery

Zippy batteries of any sub name are awesome and have a long cycle life. I have had nothing but luck with 3, 4, and 5S variates.

The 5200 is probably a hair bigger...it will fit fine. I don't think that I'll notice the difference.

Personally I like the traxxas connectors precisely because they're bigger. Me having big fingers makes the deans connectors a bit of a pain to use. I use the traxxas connectors on all my vehicles, including my 1/8 brushless.

They sell the deans clones by the bag. I think ten per bag or something. Male and female plugs together. Just hack off whatever is on the charger and solder on your plug(s).

I stuck plugs for deans, radio tx, rx pack, glowplug, all to one lead. So i can charge whatever without swicthing leads. Just tape off the unused leads with a bit of e tape so they don't hit anything metal and arc.

im ordering the same charger and almost the same battery (5200 30c)

i always use deans plugs, they seem to be the dominate plug of the hobby, and they are very easy to sauder
