Default B44 - rally style?

I am thinking of adding a body to my B44 to make it more of a rally on/off road kinda rig. Anybody ever do this? Anybody know what bodies might work on the B44 chassis? I know I will have to do some mods to the body supports, but first I need to find a body that will fit and work good.

thanks

That's what I think. problem is, it will need a 250mm body with 280mm wheel base. NONE of the touring car bodies will work, way too narrow - they would leave the wheels outside, just what I don't want.

This is why I need your guys' knowledge to help me locate a body that will fit... I am just not wild about the buggy appearance and would also like to increase its durability by housing the wheels inside the body.

Good call, Super Nitro RS4 Rally might work.

Not sure how to order body though. found this one on the HPI Racing site under Super Nitro RS4 Rally ( http://www.hpiracing.com/kits/snrally/snrally-m.htm ):
462 Suzuki Escudo Pike's Peak 280mm wheel base - not sure how wide, but wheel base is key.

Anybody know how to get one of these bodies?

How about a McLaren body? Anybody know about these:
http://www.deltaplastik.it/index.php...i&l=ita&id=162

Cost would be 22 Euro plus 50 shipping EEK, might be worth it, pretty sweet body.

Anybody know how I could order the HPI super rally bodies? HPI site doesn't seem like the place.

Looks like HPI USED to make bodies this dimension; the Murcielago would fit and be pretty righteous...

Any other ideas?

what about the Kyosho DRX 1/9th subaru rally body? The wheelbase might be a bit long, but you might be able to make it work

Cool, those are great looking bodies!! Width looks great (260mm) and wheelbase is a tad long (316mm), but might be able to make it work. It would be HUGE!!!

Any idea where I could get one? the Kyosho site says: not available yet and I don't see any way to order one...

There was the losi heavy metal truck body. Perfect dimensions to cover a 1/10 4wd, even has the provision for the rear mounted shock towers.

I may know where a couple are laying around

What you could do is buy a narrow body and if you are really good, you could add some wide body kits with some old pieces of body. It would be alot of work but it would give an awsome result.

Interesting... Would like to see some pics of this body if possible. This has some good possibilities; at this point am open to anything that might fit. May have to have several bodies lined up for different looks.

thanks guys for the ideas!
