Default Which Losi micro vehicle?

Allright, with the old man winter now in full swing up here in Montana, i've been sealed inside with my Savage Flux "Frostbyte" for winter and I have a real itch to drive an RC around my apartment building and to terrorize my new kitty with. I've been looking at the Team Losi Micro scale line and i'm trying to decided which one would best suit my purposes? I do want it to go decently fast so I can chase kitty around, but I want it to have ground clearance so i don't get stuck on small, stupid things like magazines and such. Anyone have the high roller? It looks like the best deal especially since it comes with a big NimH battery and the wall charger included. Anything about these Losi micro vehicles that break often that I should upgrade off the bat? Any issues with any particular model I should know about? I also saw they have brushless upgrades for these little things which is impressive, anyone used any of those yet?

Thanks for any incite. Love my Savage Flux but I now I need something to zip around the house and entertain myself until winter passes through up here

The Micro-T is a hoot but not much clearance. My cat hates that thing. The only part that commonly breaks on these is the steering link. Most have gone to using .030 lexan scraps to make new links. They flex a little rather than break, if they're too soft you can double them up. Have you considered the crawler?

I have the Micro Crawler,,,, and while it ain't fast, you will lose interest in chaising the kitty when you try to figure out how to crawl up a pile of magazines with out flipping. You may find, however, that kitty will be interested as well.

The micro t is a fun car. Its not good for runing on thick tall carpet, it cant carry the speed. But it does fine on the shorter carpet. The things you'll want to change are the front steering links with two witch seems to make it way more durable but stiffens it up some and get threaded axles because when you take the wheels off the e clips are a pain. I would also take a look a the micro crawler.

I have the micro T and it's a blast. The only thing I have broke is the front steering link. They are thin as paper and if you smack into a leg of a table or chair they snap. Everything else has been durable but I would suggest getting the lipo battery for it as long as you have a compatible charger. They are a bit expensive for that car but worth it. Good luck on your hunting!
