Default REDCAT AFTERSHOCK 8E BUILD

Hey everyone! I haven't been on here in awhile but I have a project and thought I would post it. I have the backdraft 8E and ran it all summer, with a few mods it was simply awesome for the price. SO, I decided to build up a Aftershock SC 8E truck so it is a track performer. Here is the start with pics. Most of the parts on the last pic will not be used. I am using 17mm wheels hubs and 1/8th buggy tires. I will also be using the upgraded front and rear hubs, aluminum shock towers, aluminum steering link (center), Jconcepts TRUTH body, front and rear aluminum suspension arm pin mounts and changing all the diff oils. I will add more pics as I get to them, I hope this helps anyone that has one or wants to get one. I believe its a great truck for the money but just want to see if I can be a contender with this truck as I started racing back in 84 and love it. Just want to see if you know what I mean.

These are the Redcat upgraded shocks. They work great. I have added all the upgraded parts from redcat (aluminum).

I've been thinking of getting one those trucks. What does it use for wheels if it doesn't use 17mm hex?

They are stock with 12mm hex so you can use Proline wheels or slash wheels too.

Nice build you got here, I have an aftershock 8E too! Can you please tell me where to get those 17mm adapters? Do I have to change the stub axles too? Thanks.

Yes, I need to paint it yet. I should have it completed early next week. I have too many customer shells to paint by Monday.
