Default Best stock Corr truck motor & esc?

Our track's Corr truck rules allow you to use any motor and esc that came stock in another Corr truck. The stock motor and esc in my Blitz doesn't do well, just wondering if one of the others (Losi, AE, Taxxas) is better.

For racing the sc10 is the way to go. The blitz is a very good car. it handles better than the slash and is more durable than the sc10. Not quit the handling of the sc10 but that dont mean you cant win races. As far as the esc and motor imo the absolute best set up is the tekin rs pro set up. You need the usb adapter and it has the most features and it is a very reliable set up. If you have the money get it. Good luck!

The motor has to come stock in a CORR truck to use for our rules. The slash and Strike motors both seem faster but I haven't seen the stock AE. I wish we would just go 17.5 brushless but that's not the case at our track yet.

oh alright sorry for the misunderstandin there. Well i do have a lot of experience with the traxxas titan 12t and the xl-5 esc. Its a pretty quick set. the losi seems to be almost the same thing rebadged but im not sure i havent run it or seen it run. The sc10 is running off a reedy 17t. I think that the traxxas set up would be the nicest. its reliable and proven and its probably the fast out of those.

I just tried a stock SC10 reedy motor in my slash today, and its faster than the titan. If I were you, I'd go for the reedy.

I've heard the Reedy motor was good. I can't find it on A-main, anyone got a part #?

Our track rules are the same, and we have used the traxxas, losi and ae motors. The traxxas worked well but didn't last as long as I had hoped-ran cool as well. The ae motor is faster but runs way hot. I've seen I don't know how burn up at our track. We are currently running the losi motor (which I agree looks like a rebadged traxxas, but the lengths are a little different) and it is running very strong. I have it geared factory slash gearing(86/23) on 2S lipo and people at the track are asking "what motor are you running?". I am liking the losi motor so far. Oh yeah, all these motors run on the traxxas xl-5 esc. Hope this helps.

Factory slash gearing is 19/86. The 23 is just for speed runs, and traxxas doesn't recommend running it for offroad racing. I tried it on mine, and it got the motor pretty hot. How long have you been running the losi motor on that gearing? And what temps are you getting with it?

what i found it what works good with a 7 cell or lipo i guess is the stock spur gear and a 21 to 22 on a big 1/8 offroad track 22 i would say that would be the limit there pretty fast with the stock 12t motor etc

86/18 is stock gearing on the Slash.

Well, you're right! For some reason I kept thinking it was 19...
Thanks for the info.
