eRevo - ready for brushless?

Hello,
I might have an easy qustion: is a normal E-Revo ready for brushless or not? Can I simply take a brushless motor and a speed controller (okay, maybe also some different batteries?) and start? Are the gears etc. are ready and do not get replaced?

The tranny should be fine, if anything you should be worried about driveshafts and tire/wheels.

The tranny and diffs are brushless ready. If your slipper isn't too tight the wheels will be fine also as long as you are easy on the throttle. Tires are a big problem. Big brushless motors like to shred them.
