Honestly I would be a tad concerned with traction rolling on a very high traction track and the diffs would be off quite a bit. I would start with the box setup first for such a track, that is what it was designed for.

I have a few questions.

1. We have 4-5 XB8 in the area and I'm wanting to get some parts in at the LHS that I work for. What parts do you guys see break or wear out quite often?

2. I understand alot of the physics on tuning the suspension, but I'm new to offroad. Does anyone make a book similar to the XXXMain touring car setup guide for offroad vehicles so I can learn what adjustments change what?

Thanks in advance,
Brandon

your xb8 manual tells you everything from what the conical pistons do to what the sway bars effect will be depending on thickness.exelent manual. dont worry its all there no need for a separate book gotts to love xray's attention to detail.

Thanks. I know the touring cars came with a tuning guide. That's kool that Xray continued to follow that with the XB8.

One place to try is Ultimate Hobbies www.ultimatehobbies.com . You have to call them to get a discounted price cheaper than advertised on their web site. Another place to try is E-Bay.
Check this thread for XB8 pricing info. www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_2581572/anchors_2581572/mpage_1/key_xb8/anchor/tm.htm#2581572

Good Luck!
