Randy,

Check closely that the o-ring isn't inside one of the other parts. I thought I was missing one also but it was inside one of the outdrives. If you can't find it PM me your info and I can send you one. I also have an extra brake part.

Well I hadnt thought of that, and I actually found the 4th small O-Ring inside the outdrive just now, but still no sign of the big one...

if you really dont want to wait for XrayUSA you can get the orings you need here

1.5x6mm orings

they are a normal size though so your LHS or hardware store might have them in stock as bulk so you can just pick one up for a nickle or something.

brake calipers are here

pads are here

i know you shouldnt have to pay for them. but you can always buy these and let xrayusa replace your bad ones and have spares later. you will need to replace brake pads and rebuild diffs anyway.

hope that helps. ive ordered plenty from rc-mushroom and never had a problem. always get the express shipping though, and it will arrive in under a week. if you dont it could take several weeks.

I actually got my JP engine from RC Mushroom. The company I got the car from was cool enough to order the pads for me and send them out at no cost. And a big thanks to Pat Smart for sending me the O-Ring. My buggy is completely built now minus the front brake (still waiting on the parts to arrive)

Is anyone running different shock caps than stock, the plastic kinda scares me up there seeing as how the thing weighs over 6lbs..

plastic has been working fine for me. they are scraped up a little from sliding around on the wrong side of the buggy. but nothing major. hope you get that thing finished soon so you can enjoy it. today im pulling the restrictor out of my vspec and changing the pipe, so ill be tuning in the back yard for this weekend. i at least want it close so i only have minor adjustments on sat. the landscaping crew for the apts is here and they always get a kick out of it.

Default Is Futureal holding out on us????

I just heard over on the grid that Shane Archer did a review of the XB8 for the Dec issue

So what's the scoop!...or are you going to make us wait for the mag to hit the stands...(or mailbox )

It'll be interesting to see how it was set up and tested with some information and numbers instead of just opinions like the RCCA review

Default Flywheel Pin

Anybody here have problem with the flywheel? Me and my brother were running in a local race. During the day, we used 3 flywheels, and all 3 of those flywheel have defective pin.

The 3 pins came loose and touching the flywheel....

Also, after the 45 minute main, my flywheel was cracked....never have this before.

You might want to go onto the XRay forums and let Mario know about the problem, I know he'll send the info to the right place.

i fitted a Mugen shell to my XB8 instead of the crowd pleazer & i think it suits the look of the car better, nicer lines

i've not run the car yet so any setup ideas would be helpful?
